People participate in MSIA to whatever degree they would like to. The main way to get involved in MSIA is to subscribe to Soul Awareness Discourses.  Discourses form the core teachings of MSIA.  They can be read just for the information or as a conscious process of study towards initiation in MSIA after two years of study.  The Discourses are a requirement for participation in retreats and advanced classes sponsored by Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy.

Another key way you can participate in your own movement of spiritual inner awareness is to do spiritual exercises.  In MSIA, one of the primary ways that we learn to attune to and focus on God is through spiritual exercises. It is a form of meditation/prayer. We teach this method because it works so well.

We invite you to try doing spiritual exercises and to observe the results for yourself. You might try doing spiritual exercises daily for 10 or 15 minutes for a week and see if this practice works for you. People who do spiritual exercises regularly often report experiencing a deeper peace and relaxation and a greater connection to God.
