A Beautiful Ministry: AyudaMas Venezuela

Dear Fellow Ministers,

I am sharing this beautiful message from an MSIA minister, Julio Trujillo, who currently lives in Venezuela. He was part of our Miami MSIA family for the last few years, and he may return in time depending on the situation for him. When our local Ministerial Board reviewed his ministerial renewal this past week, we were very touched by his voluntary ministerial project with the orphanages in Venezuela.

I asked for Julio to share more about his service, and he sent this message and photos. I thought it might be something to share with more of our MSIA family as we all hold the Light for Venezuela, as well as to inspire other ministers in their loving service.

In Pic #8, you can see Julio in front, smiling and holding a sweet little girl.

En amor y luz,
Teri

Dear Teri & Ministers

I understand by Jacques, that some of the Ministers were interested in knowing a little more about the foundation that I’m opening in Venezuela, I want to take the initiative to share with you in my own words a bit of information about the foundation and also the purpose of it, and why I wanted to open it. I will love if you share this with the ministers.

The foundation is called “AyudaMas Venezuela” (“HelpMore Venezuela”), me and 3 friends decided to open this foundation to support with Supplies, Food, Clothing and Toys, different orphanages for children in Caracas, Venezuela.

There are several orphanages houses for children in Caracas, every month we help a different one.

What we do, it’s every month, after we decide which orphanage house to support, we contact them and ask what it is that they need more. Then during all that month we focus on collecting different kinds of product that people would like to donate, such as, food, clothing, toys, etc. Also some people do not have the time to buy or to collect products to give us, so they prefer to donate money, and with that money we purchase the products needed for the orphanage.

At the end of the month we go to the orphanage house, and we take them all the products. We also have “Sharing time” with the kids, in which we play games, talk with the kids, we bring cakes and cookies and we eat them all together. During this time the managers of the orphanages take us to the facilities so we can see how the kids live, talk about their needs, struggles as well all the blessing that they received from donors.

Must of the orphanages are private so they don’t receive any help from the government, actually we have found out that some of them had to close and have had to relocate the children to other orphanages. It’s really unfortunate but due to the country situation it’s harder for big companies to support them and provide with the resources they need.

One of my dreams and goals in life was to be able to help children in need and create a foundation for this purpose. During this time that I’m spending in Venezuela, I could say I had the blessing and Light that in some way guide me to do this. I’m doing this from my heart, with the best effort to help with love and try to give these children some kind of happiness and Light in their lives. I have been blessed with so much in my life, and why not share this with others.

I send you some pictures of some visits to the orphanages.

I will love, if the ministers could send Light and love to the foundation for the greater good.

Love and Light,
Julio T
