MSIA Mini-Marathon: John Morton Live Seminar and John-Roger Recorded Seminar at Prana, the Home of the Traveler

The mansion at 3500 West Adams is a grand old lady. As they say, she’s got great “bones.” And on Friday, May 16th, although the weather was uncharacteristically hot, her gardens were alive and beautiful with the colors of Spring.

It is not common for John Morton to hold a Seminar on a Friday afternoon when he is in Los Angeles, although he is welcome any day of the week. The good news was that many MSIA and PTS Staff members were able to attend.

Melissa Ward, Administrative Dean of Peace Theological Seminary, acted as Host for the seminar, and Leigh Taylor-Young Morton called us forward into the Light with a gentle prayer. Beth Hinman recited a poetic fable she had written, which was full of grace and loving. Laren and Penelope Bright performed a sweet song they had written, titled “The Traveler’s Lullabye.”

John Morton was then invited to speak, and the energy of Living Love seemed to emanate from every thing he said. One particular subject was a gentle reminder to send Light for clearing to those who are in the media spotlight, regardless of our opinions as to what they have done or said.

After John’s talk, many people stayed on to enjoy the gardens and the labyrinth. A scrumptious dinner was served to a full house and then folks ambled into the large seminar room for a beautiful recorded seminar by John-Roger called, “Is Common Sense Spiritual Sense?” (Stock #1506 available at msia.org). Yummy home-baked chocolate chip cookies were the fare after the seminar.

What an amazing day filled with the Light of Spirit in the Traveler’s home. Our beloved Travelers John-Roger and John Morton, fully with us in their embrace. Even though the John-Roger seminar was audio only and recorded many years ago, his presence along with John’s was palpable. We are so fortunate to be on the planet at this time with our Travelers.

Next video seminar at PAL&G by John-Roger, “The Way of the Spiritual Warrior,” Friday May 30. Come for dinner at 5:30, walk the labyrinth, visit the gardens, head back in for the seminar at 7:30pm. And there’s always some sweet goodies to schmooze over after the seminar. See other upcoming titles at peacelabyrinth.org.

Come back, June 8 for a free workshop called, “What’s It Like Being You?” with Russell Bishop. peacelabyrinth.org.

MSIA’s annual conference starts on July 2. Check it out at msia.org.

This year marks the 40th Anniversary of the purchase of Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens, also known as Prana. Saturday Aug 9, we’ll be celebrating with fun outdoor activities and games, a nostalgic presentation focusing on the joy and fun of living and working at Prana over the decades, delicious barbecue dinner and at dusk the outdoor screening of the movie, Mystical Traveler–The Life and Times of John-Roger, a not-to-be-missed cinematic account of J-R’s multidimensional and prolific contribution to the upliftment of the world. I’ve seen it twice and can’t wait to see it again. Make reservations for the day at prana40.eventbrite.com

See you at the Home of the Traveler.
