Latin Communities’ Representatives Meeting | July 1

spanishrepsmsiaconf2015

Preparing for the 6th meeting of the Latin Communities for The Conference of the Christ was a lot of work. I started in April to send emails, and did not stop until July 1st: the day of the meeting, working hard to get everyone connected via Skype at the last minute.

I did not know what to expect, but I was ready for surprises. The first surprise was that our beloved Traveler, John Morton came just in time to call in the Light for us and make us aware of the many blessings available to us when we are open. His words were simple, but resonated in my heart as new. Then he talked about Living in Grace in Colombia to take place at the end of January 2016 and made the audience shiver with his intention to support that event, since there is not going to be a Living In Grace at Asilomar this year (there will however be a PAT 8 at Asilomar in December). It was a powerful call to action and the group of participants seemed inspired and empowered to make it happen.

Then came a beautiful song in Portuguese composed specially for the occasion and sung by Matthew VanFossan, who was accompanied by his guide dog Achilles laying at his feet. As soon as he started singing my eyes became watery and I found myself crying with gratitude, I was surprised at my emotions. As I write these lines I realize that Matt was preparing our hearts to what was coming.

The next to address the group was Nathaniel Sharratt. He expressed his gratitude for the invitation and talked to us about his experience of living close to J-R and shared many wondrous moments. Nat said that as J-R became older and more fragile he showed more the greatness of his divinity. I noted that many people in the audience were crying. By this time all the hearts were open and all those tears then turned into joy, laughter and enthusiasm.

For me the meeting was an exercise on letting go and flowing with what was present. I realized at the end that my role had been to prepare the place for Spirit’s work, which did not necessarily was what I had in mind. My ego wanted more tangible results. I was humbled by the results. What was undeniable was the energy of enthusiasm and loving present. I new something beyond what my mind could grasp was happening. I surrendered and I opened myself unconditionally to the loving presence and offered myself to do whatever Spirit wants me to do to have another meeting next year, for the Highest Good.

Thank you J-R for what you have given us and for teaching me, once again, that service is about putting my ego aside and letting Spirit to Its work. Letting love lead is a key.

I am grateful to all those who shared their loving and Light, either by talking about their countries or their service projects or just through their presence. Each one brought a unique treasure and all together joined in to make the most beautiful kaleidoscope of Light and Love. Thank you.
