Japan Tour 2016 | Day 1

Konichiwa! Welcome to Day 1 of the Zen of the Mystical Traveler Japan Tour 2016. Enjoy the beautiful Palace Hotel Tokyo video Tour and the beauty of the Imperial Palace directly across the street from the Palace Hotel Tokyo. Palace Hotel Tokyo is a historic five star hotel that finds its home in the heart of Japan. The hotel is balanced by stunning views of the city and a tranquil moat-side location, adjacent to the Imperial Palace gardens. The award winning hotel boasts acclaimed hospitality while never forsaking traditional Japanese values. Palace Hotel Tokyo has ten venues dedicated to some of the finest cuisine in Tokyo. The finale is the expansive gardens and moats surrounding the Imperial Palace.

Above, so below, is very fitting when speaking of the Palace Hotel Tokyo. Once entering the hotel you can take an escalator down one flight to another world below! Not only are there some of the finest shops and restaurants but access to the underground subway network. You can walk for days underground and never need to come up top! It truly is an underground city that extends far and wide and as I found out far enough where I was so tired from walking I finally had to go back up to the top and find a taxi to get me back to the hotel.

To top off the visit, enjoy the beautiful blessing and planting a Light Column for Japan by John Morton.
