Our Ministry Visit to Venezuela

What a great blessing it was to visit our MSIA family in Venezuela!
We don’t know who got more out of it, they or us.

For several years, Ani Pacheco and I, and other people, had talked about the possibility of going to Venezuela to support our family, so when the Presidency of MSIA and John okayed it, it was as if we had been invited to a party.

During the Reps Meeting at Conference, John spoke about the situation of our family there, and some Venezuelan MSIAers that had come to Conference had the opportunity to describe the situation the country was going through and how they were feeling. That ignited the solidarity of all of our MSIA family, who responded with great generosity. Donations of all kinds started coming in, so Ani and I filled our suitcases with loving, goods and study materials and set off with an open heart to Venezuela.

John’s support, his loving, his wise advice: “Basically, stay vigilant and have fun”, as well as a message of loving sent to our Venezuelan family, was all we needed to leave with confidence and trust that the Light would be with us, opening the way, as we knew that J-R was already there, waiting for us.

When we arrived, Santos Gomez (Venezuela Rep) received us with open arms and “thousands eyes” to watch over us. Our heart was beating with loving and joy. Passing through customs without major problems with one hundred pounds of goods and books was a sign that the Light was with us.

Throughout the first day, many called to welcome us. Once we arrived to our final destination, we were welcomed by Magaly Sanchez, Santos’ wife, who opened her heart and her home to us, to make our stay, even at the basic self level, a true delight. It is worth mentioning here the delicacies with which she pampered us every day, true banquets of local veggies and fruits, and those wonderful “arepas” that we had for breakfast daily.

Our program included services, initiations and ordinations, and an open workshop, “1000 Ways to Happiness”. Gaby Grigorescu and Armando Wahrman were the hosts of a program, needless to say, very well organized at Magaly and Santos’ home. The first day, while Ani was devoted to services, I was invited to a radio interview to promote the workshop. I had never done that, so my heart was pounding on the way to the radio station. For some reason, when the program started, an incredible calmness came over me and I heard myself answering questions, which covered even the political situation, with great clarity. I know that the Traveler was with me because I would have not been able to answer so clearly and give such practical examples of why we needed to look inside to find happiness, regardless of the external circumstances. We were told that when the program was over, many people called to ask for information about the workshop and MSIA.

Our days were busy with services and initiations for people who came from every corner of Venezuela, some of them just for the day, to receive the gifts of Spirit that were being offered to them. I had the blessing to observe Ani’s services done with so much loving and impeccability, and see how “thirsty” our brothers and sisters were for the Light and for the caring that MSIA was showing them with deeds. Their faces were illuminated when receiving their services and many could not hold back tears of gratitude. We were also witnesses of how the flame of the teachings was still burning in the hearts of all the members of our beloved family in Venezuela.

Two great events during this visit need to be highlighted: the open workshop, “1000 Ways to Happiness”, and the Ministers’ Meeting.

On Saturday afternoon, Ani and I facilitated the open workshop for 52 people, 23 of them attending for the first time a PTS/MSIA event. When we got to the room, there was so much loving present and the Light of Spirit had impregnated every corner of the room. Gaby Grigorescu, Rainner Lopez (on sound), Xiomara Barrios, Eucaris Wills and a wonderful team of assistants had prepared a beautiful room, a table full of books and study materials that Ani and I had brought with us for them, a registration table with smiling assistants, and a full table of cakes and treats, tea and coffee, to welcome the participants.

Our MC was Nidal Jaouhari, an Insight facilitator, who immediately set the note for the workshop, speaking about his own experience on this spiritual path and how that was the source of his happiness. Ani and I were both facilitating an open seminar for the public for the first time, how exciting! We divided the workshop in sections and it ended with a partner exercise where the participants shared ways to be happier, and it was another blessing to witness how excited they were about what they were going to do to be happier. The sharings were beautiful and each one named something they felt grateful for. At the end of the workshop, many people wanted to know more about Discourses and MSIA.

The Ministers’ Meeting the following day, lead by Xiomara Barrios, began with two wonderful ordinations, and continued with a beautiful meeting attended by 19 Ministers. The icing on the cake was to do spiritual exercises in that sacred silence with our family, who more than anything shared their gratitude for our visit, MSIA and for all the donations that they had received. The Ministers who had been at Conference shared their experience and how supported they had felt as they received words of solidarity and donations during their stay. I had watched them at Conference choosing the products they wanted, thanks to the generous donations by the community, and I also saw them looking for gifts for the members of the ministerial board to show them their gratitude for their continuous work.

At the end of the meeting, Ani handed out bags with goods (food, toothpaste, soaps, vitamins, medicines, and so much more) that she had acquired during her stay in the U.S. and then in Bogotá, all organized by Heartfelt and our beloved Skyler Patton, and by David Jaramillo from the Products Dept. People could not hold all the joy they were feeling when they came up to pick up their packages, that had been prepared with so much loving by Ani, Magaly, Armando and Gaby the days before.

That night we went out to dinner to thank the organizing team for their wonderful work in organizing this beautiful visit with such limited resources. However, the generosity of many, providing service, food (thanks Armando for those delicious black beans for the “pabellon”!), money and all their Light, made us forget that we were in a country going through very difficult economic circumstances.

The enthusiasm for not letting the flame go out that the visit had fired up, was present. Nidal and Gaby told us about their future projects to keep MSIA in Venezuela active, as always with full support from Santos. Future projects that were mentioned are: PAT trainings (Rinaldo Porcile offered to facilitate them using his own flying miles), a spiritual exercises workshop that Ani Pacheco is going to facilitate in October (using her free tickets from Avianca) and a workshop for ministers.

We are so very grateful for so much loving, so much Light, so much gratitude and blessings at all levels shared with us by our family in Venezuela. We left with our hearts full of loving, growth and gratitude for God, the Traveler John Morton, J-R –who was with us all the time– and MSIA Presidency for making this visit possible. Thanks to Angel and Vincent for their precious support with logistics. We are also very grateful for all the donations from our MSIA community, which made this visit an all around gift for our Venezuelan family and us all.

With loving, Light and eternal gratitude,
Nora Valenzuela

My Experience in Caracas, Venezuela

My experience on this trip is of growth, expansion, observation, reflection, forgiveness, releasing in the Light and letting go, and of awareness.

I had very, very wonderful moments of joy, peace, happiness, expansion, and reflection.

I really appreciate you, Traveler John Morton, for showing us in such wonderful ways that you are always present, helping everyone.

The presence and support of J-R are really MAJESTIC. It is truly an honor to be in service as a Minister, supporting the work of the Travelers.

I appreciate that the Presidency sponsored our trip to Caracas. I am grateful for the dedication and the impeccable and beautiful way Vincent, Angel and Celia taught me the logistics of services. It is so beautiful and a privilege that J-R would give us these services…, wonderful gifts for our Soul.

I was a channel for Spirit in 36 services, participated as an observer at one
mental and etheric initiation. It was my first open seminar as a PTS facilitator. Thank you PTS! I assisted as an active minister at two ordinations and at the Ministers’ Meeting.

I was the carrier and delivered donations from the Heartfelt Foundation for the ministers who had asked for help. Thanks Skyler for your trust.
Thanks also to Nora for everything.

We received the hospitality, generosity, care and dedication of Magaly and her husband, Santos. Also, Gaby’s dedication, being the hostess for services and initiations, was a great support during our visit. We had a wonderful team of assistants at the open seminar.

We shared the joy, the peace, the happiness, the expansion and the gratitude of the Venezuela Community as ministers sent by the Traveler and the MSIA Presidency, PTS and the Heartfelt Foundation.

The community shared with us their gratitude and sends words of gratitude to everyone.

We lived moments of peace, laughter, joy, happiness, expansion in our hearts that were filled with gratitude, and enjoyed a snack after the Ministers’ meeting.

I was also a witness to the many challenges, situations and circumstances they are going through, and that, despite the difficulties, they continue to meet as Ministers of the Light to support each other and support their country; for me, they are an example of true warriors.

To be a witness of the generosity and the presence of Spirit is part of my ministry, and I really lived that and experienced it in different ways, at different times. Knowing that Spirit is always present in everything and in all, that we will never be given anything that we cannot handle, is a great relief for the heart.

Thank you Travelers for accepting me as a student at this beautiful school.
Thank you for giving me this beautiful and blessed opportunity.
Thank you all for holding the Light for all of us, also to all that touched my heart and taught me again and again to touch and share the loving that is the greatest treasure, and to find the good in all.

May God bless us all! And I’m ready to continue with what comes next, for the highest good of all concerned.

Thank you Venezuela, you’re a wonderful country.

Ani Pacheco
