Gathering as a Community for Conference

When those who can manifest Baraka bring it forward into a gathering, the blessings are bestowed instantly on everyone present.  -John-Roger

Dear Beloved Reps and Seminar Leaders,

A powerful way to touch in to the satsang of Conference is to gather together as a community and watch online.  This is a beautiful option to foster loving connection if you’re not able to attend in person.

I’ve certainly experienced this connection via the fellowship of home seminars—imagine how profound this could be with Conference activities! As J-R says, “the seminars and the gathering together of people builds a consciousness from which people can keep pulling for weeks to gain their greater strength.”

Here are some tips for sharing Conference together in your community:

Designate a host for Conference gatherings.  Having a home base to watch the events is a great resource for folks who may otherwise only watch on their own.  You could do this for one Conference event, or for all of them!

Reach out and call local Discourse subscribers.  When is the last time you got a phone call from a local MSIAer to check in?  A personal call to invite folks to your gathering (or simply to watch however they choose to) gives people live human contact, and it may be just what they need to participate in Conference.

Invite new folks.  The Conference open event on Wednesday and all of the Thursday events are open to the public, and your gathering can be a welcoming and fun way for people to experience the Traveler’s teachings for the first time.

Do group se’s or a seminarEven if you don’t watch the Conference events as a group, you could offer group se’s or a seminar around Conference time. Both can serve as vehicles to gather together as a community and connect inwardly with the divine presence.

Have foodWhat better way to inspire folks to attend your community gathering than food?  J  Sharing a meal (or even just snacks) can be so nurturing and create a sense of family as part of the Conference experience.

If you hold a gathering, feel free to email me at DebbieRoth@msia.org – and share photos if you can. It would be lovely to see what you do!

Many blessings to us all, and have a wonderful Conference.

Love and Light,
Debbie
