Join peacemakers around the world in the Worldwide Internet Peace Prayer that begins on Thursday, July 4, 2013 and ends Monday, August 6, 2013. A core group of 3,504 peacemakers worldwide are already committed to doing a inner process daily for coming to peace within and sharing it with others. We invite you to participate with us!

We will begin this round of the Peace Prayer at IIWP’s Gathering of Peacemakers as part of MSIA’s Annual Conference at the Sheraton Universal Hotel in Los Angeles. See below for more information on how to participate in our Gathering.

The Worldwide Peace Prayer takes place through rounds and periods of practical application. During a round, participants receive by email quotes and processes for tuning to peace inwardly and making choices that lead consistently to peace. Our theme for this round is one of IIWP’s four principles of peace: “Peace is a choice, available regardless of any conditions.”

Our Inner Peace Process and Prayer

We invite you to take a moment now to attune to the Peace that is Present:

Focus on your breathing.
Let your body relax, and be aware of the sounds around you.
Whatever you hear, focus on your breath as it moves in and out,
Bringing you into the here and now.

This is where loving and peace reside.

Relax into the loving.
Be aware of peace radiating through you and extending out from you,
To gently hold the planet earth and all of God’s creation in your loving care,

We gather together as Peacemakers, encircling the planet, chanting:

I Love You,
God Bless You,
Peace Be Still.

Just now we become aware of any againstness we may be running. We let it go.
We let God. We relax.

We envision a reawakening of peace on earth, like a golden sun rising over the rim of the planet spreading forth its Light and encompassing all in the Light of Peace.
