Doing the blessing may appear to be futile. So there is another aspect to what we can do and that's to let the One who can do it, do it for us. Letting go and letting God is a process of surrender and doing our best to move into the primary aspect of our soul and that's simple - God is love.

Love the mystery. Love the invisible. Love the silence and the unknown. Love what it is such as you know it. That's the way to get through a challenging experience or one that you don't like. You might say, "Right now, even though I don't like what's going on, or it is not what I thought it should be or would be, my place is to find the good, to relax, to be patient."

Be an abundant source of good tidings to and from God. In short, let go and let God.

John-Roger gave keys to letting go. The main one is to relax or detach from anything like againstness or contraction. Release that. Breathing is another way of coming into attunement.

God is entirely present, all the time, in every age, in every country, in every human being, in everything. You find God when you live entirely in the moment…because that's where God lives.

Every moment we do something, we can set it up to be for us - every moment. When I am clearing myself, I say, "Every time I clear myself I become healthier and happier." That's a good affirmation. Sometimes I say, "I'll be more relaxed by clearing myself." I start to become more relaxed before I even start to clear. That's the mental power of our intention.

Letting go is relaxing and letting God is simply being patient. In letting God it's helpful to know that God is formless. It's a disservice to yourself to limit God by seeking a form. Maintaining that limitation takes so much of your energy, because it goes against what is.

You are going to the spiritual center where, when you enter, it is quiet and soothing. If there are sounds, all the sounds are nurturing and serene. They might also be joyful and uplifting. It's not like you have to do anything. You just need to let go and be in restoration, restoring yourself. When we go into spirit from the daily cycle, that is what we really need to do.

If you find yourself disturbed, upset or in fear, that's an opportunity to let go, relax, go within and commune with God's presence inside. God's not worried. God's okay with what is. Is there an opportunity to make it better? Always. That's my experience.

Demanding and pushing for a "spiritual experience" can and often does have the opposite effect. It can push the experience away rather than bringing it to you. The saying, "Let go and let God," is just another way of saying, relax and be patient; and when it is right and proper for you, you will have your "spiritual experience."
