This is an awesome introductory seminar, given by John-Roger for an audience in Australia. He starts by telling amusing stories about his seeking for spiritual truth as a young person. J-R says, “The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness says, ‘Bring your brains in and do not believe, nor dis-believe what you hear. You listen.”

He then spells out what you’re listening for. J-R goes on, “We’re wanting so badly to know God, like here’s this glass with water in it. Can anybody not see this glass of water? We want to know God like this, independent of me saying so. And if it’s only there because I say so, then you’re in trouble if you believe it. Every one of you who are questing for more awareness of Spirit at some point probably doubted, and looked for empirical proof like this (taps glass). And you got it somehow, an inkling of it, and you decided that you could take the next step in what we call your unfoldment.”

J-R continues by discussing enlightenment and how we can experience it. He also talks about its opposite, “Endarkenment is when you’re hurting over your desires from your attachments, like losing your wife, your child, your lover, your job — whatever it is that you feel is needed by you for your existence. That’s when you’re in darkness. But enlightenment, like happiness, is not a destination.
It is a process. Enlightenment resides in everyone right now. Think about that. I can’t prove it for you, but I can give you the method by which you can prove it….”

Whether you’re an MSIA old-timer or someone who is new to the quest for Spirit, this seminar will remind you of eternal truths and open your questing heart to that which you seek.

God Bless You!
