Product Details

Perhaps you won’t recognize yourself in his description, but in this seminar, John-Roger says,
“Most humans, as part of their dilemma and their strategy, attempt to manipulate everything
and everybody around them. They think if they manipulate correctly, all will form within
certain patterns and it will hold that way from now on. It doesn’t, in case you wonder.”

J-R is describing habits here. He says, “All we’re after in a habit is to find something that is
certain that will hold and hold and hold and hold. That’s all we’re after. So we’ll smoke, we’ll
drink, and overeat to find something that’s going to stay steady and calm in the midst of all
life’s confusion and turmoil. But of course, the only thing that is permanent here is change!”

“So we have to deal with two things,” J-R says.. One is how to find happiness in that that
doesn’t change. The other is how to find happiness with things that change, because that’s
what they’re going to do.” Then J-R asks his audience if they have ever use meditation and
he gets back silence, to which he says, “Meditation can be a strategy to handle the dilemmas
of our everyday affairs but it doesn’t work when we do the meditation while we’re looking outside.”

Then comes J-R’s elegant summation and guide to inner meditation. “If you want to see or
to know about seeing inwardly……,” he begins. It’s all in the seminar.
