OK, let’s start with magic. “Magic is,” J-R says, “for the most part, people wanting to control other people by creating illusions so they’ll come along with a certain way of thinking. Now, I’m not talking about the magicians who perform onstage. Those are slight-of-hand artists who are there to entertain.”
“Then there is the occult.” he continues. “Many occult teachings are secret. They also can be classed in the field of magic where you can become controlled. This is why many of the teachers of the occult talk symbolically, like using one of the most fantastic
magic words, ‘abrakadabra.’ ”
“People working in the areas of magic and the occult are working in the negative realms of light,” J-R warns. And they get everything that goes with that. Now we’re not saying, ‘Don’t do this.’ We’re saying, ‘Know what it is.’ ”
With growth in spirit, J-R says, “We start turning more inwardly to the Inner Master and then, we will have bypassed the magic and entered into the esoteric. Esoteric teachings are the inner teachings that cannot be voiced.” J-R tells us that from that place, we are likely to find miracles. “And what is a miracle?” he asks. “That is a subtle occurrence that takes place to those who are attuned recognize it. ”
