Yes, cringe. You know, that feeling that you want to disappear, or to ward off something unpleasant. Speaking to graduates and their guests at the end of an Insight Transformational Seminar, John-Roger deepens the Insight experience. At a moment in his address, he says, "There's a sacredness, a stillness, a quiet calm that's just come over the room. Because when you're gathered in the name of love, that appears."

As he speaks, J-R highlights the opposite of cringing. He says, "Stay vitally alive, and that means continually participating in your life as you breathe. You must have an ongoing commitment to the physical movement of your body and your emotions and your mind. Let it become a purifying process. Just stand up inside, look people in the eye and love them as the Beloved, instead of looking to see what you can get out of them."

He continues, "Don't slouch over; stand up straight and extend your shoulders out there to hold up those who need that also. So you feel bad some day when you've got a depression. Go ahead and have joy anyway, because a depression doesn't help. Go ahead and laugh and tell a joke in the midst of your migraine. Well, why not?"

"It doesn't help to cringe because it doesn't do any good to cringe. It doesn't do any good to cry and moan and groan. I'm suggesting you just be as flexible as the wind and as steady as the North star. Keep looking up for that reference point. And become the joy to the world."

God Bless You!
