Open House at Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens
The International Day of Peace, also called Peace Day, is observed around the world each year on 21 September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution 36/37, the General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to “commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples.” Join us at Peace Awareness Labyrinth & Gardens, MSIA Headquarters, as we celebrate peace. Unable to attend in person? Join the world-wide minute of silence at 12:00pm.
Open House Program
Open House Hours 11:30am – 4:00pm.
Minute of Silence at 12:00pm (all times zones world-wide) as suggested by the U.N.
A Planetary Blessing at 12:05pm.
Live soft music in the gardens at 12:45pm & at 2:15pm.
Walk the Labyrinth & place peace blessings.
Visit the Peace Pole. Share peace photos on your social pages & spread peace.
Write a card with your prayer or vision for peace and hang it on our Peace Tree.
Enjoy a 20-minute Experience of Meditation & Sound with singing bowls, chimes and meditative tones at 1:40pm, 2:40pm & 3:40pm.
Refreshments will be served.
