If we change our attitude about death and dying, we can completely change our experience.

HeartFelt will be hosting a new 3 part series based on minister Judith Johnson’s new book, Making Peace with Death and Dying. This series will be led by Judith Johnson along with Skyler Patton and HeartFelt.
Each one-hour webinar will start at 10:00 am PT followed by half an hour for questions for those who would like to join the conversation.

Saying “Yes!” to Death

We have been taught to fear and avoid aging and dying but pay a very high price for this way of relating to our mortality. Too many of the 2.8 million Americans dying each year, and those who love and care for them, suffer through the experience emotionally isolated, frightened, ignorant of their options, and unprepared spiritually and practically. In Saying ā€œYes!ā€ to Death we will explore:

Ā· Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Understanding how we have been brainwashed to be afraid
Ā· Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  The price we pay for living in fear
Ā· Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  How to recognize and get free of our fears @ death
Ā· Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  How a healthy attitude about death is the missing piece of end-of-life planning

Ā· Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā  Healthier ways to relate to death

Judith Johnson is the author of Making Peace with Death and Dying: A Practical Guide to Liberating Ourselves from the Death Taboo. For over forty years, she has been studying and teaching the dynamics of how our beliefs inform our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Judith mentors individuals, couples, and those facing end-of-life challenges to master the art of being true to themselves and to find a grounded sense of self-awareness from which to navigate their lives. Ordained as an interfaith minister in 1985, she also serves as a chaplain at her local hospital and counsels the grieving. Judith holds doctorates in Social Psychology and Spiritual Science, as well as a masterā€™s in business. Her next book, Being You: A Userā€™s Manual will be published in 2023.

The event will be recorded and made available after the event.
