SpiritualiTEA is a unique opportunity to spend three hours with like-minded people as we experience the nine positive aspects of life.

For centuries drinking tea has been practiced as more than a simple leisure activity, there is also a long history of tea as a meditative practice. Zen monks as far back as the 12th century would drink tea not only to remain awake during meditation but as way to become more fully present and to do so with an open heart. Modern research has shown that tea has an abundance of health giving properties – as does chocolate.

In an intimate, online gathering via Zoom we will be experiencing tea as a part of a larger meditative practice. We begin by engaging our senses in full awareness and gratitude as we taste three different teas paired with three different chocolates. As we explore the flavors and nuances, and the history and the culture of tea, we will also talk about wu wei – the Taoist concept and practice of effortless action and non-forcing – the natural way of living.

Wu wei is a way of being in which we are effortlessly in the flow of life. Such a way of being is characterized by great ease and spontaneity where we find ourself doing the right thing without trying.

We will then go into a simple yet profound meditation practice – no prior experience necessary – in which we will find the natural state of calm and wellbeing within us all. This is something that can be practiced in daily life as we learn to act without struggle or excessive effort.

SpiritualiTEA, Chocolate & Meditation is a unique opportunity to spend three hours with like-minded people as we experience the nine positive aspects of life on this planet – love, life, light, peace, power, beauty, joy, harmony, and abundance.

The price of this event is $275 and includes tea, chocolate, and all you need to make a great cup of tea. (These will be sent to you a week before the event). Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 20 persons. This is a fundraising event to support the upkeep of the Peace Labyrinth & Gardens.

If you know that you are one with the Source,

then you don’t feel tense or needy.

You don’t feel lack or pressure.

You’re poised. You’re silent. You’re peaceful.

You can work harmoniously with anything

that comes your way and then let it go,

because you are free.
