The Harmonic Self: I’ll Be the Flute, You Be the Wind
We Are Sound…
We are sound. We are vibration. And when we are in harmony we are music – in tune with the music of the spheres; the celestial melodies. What makes us feel drawn to music is that our whole being is music; our mind and our body, the nature in which we live, the nature which has made us, all that is beneath and around us, it is all sound, vibration and music. We are close to all this music, and live and move and have our being in music and sound.
In the Sanskrit language, there is a differentiation between inner and outer sound. There is audible sound, or struck sound, which is the result of vibration on the physical plane. There is also the inaudible inner sound which is not the result of a physical vibration, it is “unstruck” and can be ridden to other planes of existence in our spiritual exercises.
Harmonics are the bridge between the struck and the unstruck sound – between the physical and the metaphysical, the link between that which has been created on the physical plane and that which is in the process of creation on the higher planes.
Harmonics can be utilized to raise our vibration in this world while also amplifying our connection and awareness to the Sound Current within our being.
Our thoughts and feelings influence the chemistry that regulates much of our health. Our thoughts, feelings, emotions and attitudes are frequencies that we can change and adjust and thus raise the harmonic vibration and frequency of our body, mind, and heart as a springboard into higher consciousness.
Let the vibrations start to heal your body
starting at the sub-atomic particle level,
let it all resonate in harmony and balance.
Let the ancient healing, the ancient way,
bring you into balance physically, emotionally, mentally.
Put it through all the organs and the intestines in the body,
through the bones and the spine and the head.
Feel yourself becoming vibratorily alive,
then become aware of the presence of God;
divinity in, around you.
In The Harmonic Self, a monthly weekend class starting in January 2020, we will be taking a deep dive into sound, music, vibration, silence and stillness and how it impacts our lives on all our levels.
We will also “tune” ourselves as we explore the health and movement of the spine and the Subtle Body through Qi Gong, Dao Yin, and Somatic Yoga.
You may participate in-person, or online via Live Stream. All classes will be recorded and available for later viewing.
