DESCRIPTION:  \nThis is one of the monthly Transcendent Leadership Gatherings via Zoom for students in PTS’s DSS Program in Transcendent Leadership. For more information about the Transcendent Leadership Program go to: https://www.transcendentleader.org/ \nThe Doctoral Program in Transcendent Leadership builds on the work of the master’s experience in TL as we stand in the strength of our capstone demonstration\, and use that capstone as a stepping stone toward the next highest summit and next greatest level of expansion. In an intimate cohort of ministers and initiates\, participants will explore what it means to be an initiate of the Traveler and the Sound Current through a deeper exploration of transcendence; what it means to demonstrate who we are in service and ministry to ourselves and those around us by deepening our awareness of our own leadership; and we will carry out a personal and community inquiry asking beautiful questions to explore what is serving our greatest expansion and how we can move into even greater levels of spiritual attunement\, service\, Soul awareness\, and expansion into the beauty of who we already are. \n“You already are what you wish to be. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nThe greatest secret is that the journey\nis already over before it has begun.\nYou are already there.\nThat one for whom you seek is already present.\nWhy is this a secret?\nBecause so few claim it.\nDo you?\nWith your next breath?\nJohn-Roger\, DSS \n  \nWhy This Course? \nJourney to Ithaca: Our Voyage Home to Our Self is a sixteen-week experiential course that uses one of humanity’s oldest and most beloved stories — Homer’s Odyssey — as a map for the Soul’s journey home to itself. \nThe spiritual meaning of Homer’s Odyssey centers on nostos (homecoming)\, representing the Soul’s journey back to its true\, divine nature through inner transformation\, trial\, and disillusionment. It is an allegory of the human spirit navigating the chaotic sea of existence to reach inner fulfillment (Ithaca) and unity with the divine\, guided by wisdom (Athena). In other words\, it is a story for our times! \nHome is neither here nor there.\nHome is within you\,\nor home is nowhere at all.\nHerman Hesse \nHomer’s Odyssey is a profound map of inner transformation: from the first stirring that something is missing\, through encounters with beauty and danger\, diving into the depths of our existence\, the stripping away of everything false\, and the return home to who we truly are. \nEach week\, we will follow a specific episode from Homer’s epic and explore its spiritual underpinnings through the wisdom of John-Roger’s teachings\, and how the Sound Current weaves into the story.
