DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nI don’t relate to Jesus on the cross.  That would be foolish.  Worshipping Jesus on the cross is a backward process. That’s like relating to your life 20 years ago\, when you are no longer doing what you did then.  To me\, people who hang Jesus on the cross and worship him in that form don’t know what’s going on\, because he got off the cross\, resurrected\, and walked among his people. \nSo that has to be your process.  And I don’t think you even need a cross to remind you of what happened.  You don’t have to hold yourself in the past in that way.  You can let it go and move to what is present now\, which is that the Christ is present\, living in your heart and in your consciousness. It’s we who have gone out for a walk\,” we invite you to come home to Christ in the present moment through our transformative 9-week class\, “Christ Is Now: Seeing Through the Eyes of Love.” \nOn Monday evenings\, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm PT\, we’ll explore the profound wisdom of the mystics who discovered Christ’s living presence in everyday life—not as a historical figure or future promise\, but as the eternal Now experienced through love’s gaze. \nThroughout this workshop\, you’ll learn practical\, contemplative practices from remarkable sages. Julian of Norwich beautifully expresses the essence of this class when she says\, “The fullness of joy is to behold God in everything.” \nWhat You’ll Learn: \nIn our current world of distraction\, disruption\, and destruction\, this class offers a sacred pause—a chance to develop eyes that see differently. Eyes that perceive Christ’s presence shimmering through all reality\, transforming how we experience relationships\, work\, nature\, and life’s inevitable challenges. \nThe Sacred Pause represents a deliberate interruption and a conscious stepping out of the pressures and rush of everyday life to enter the eternal Now where Christ’s presence dwells. In our class\, this pause becomes both practice and pathway to experiencing divine love in the present moment. \nThe sacred pause is an invitation to momentarily set aside all our doing in favor of being. Brother Lawrence described it as “the time of business does not differ from the time of prayer\,” suggesting that when we pause even briefly within our activities\, we can experience the same Christ-presence we might find in formal meditation. This pause isn’t about adding another task to our day but rather transforming our relationship with every moment. \nThese pauses aren’t escapes from reality but rather gateways into a deeper reality where Christ’s love permeates everything. We will discover how these intentional moments of presence gradually transform perception. A perception that reveals Christ’s face in the eyes of strangers\, in moments of both joy and difficulty\, and in the simple\, overlooked aspects of daily life that will suddenly shine with sacred significance. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nI don’t relate to Jesus on the cross.  That would be foolish.  Worshipping Jesus on the cross is a backward process. That’s like relating to your life 20 years ago\, when you are no longer doing what you did then.  To me\, people who hang Jesus on the cross and worship him in that form don’t know what’s going on\, because he got off the cross\, resurrected\, and walked among his people. \nSo that has to be your process.  And I don’t think you even need a cross to remind you of what happened.  You don’t have to hold yourself in the past in that way.  You can let it go and move to what is present now\, which is that the Christ is present\, living in your heart and in your consciousness. SUMMARY:Christ Is Now: Seeing Through the Eyes of Love
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nI don’t relate to Jesus on the cross.  That would be foolish.  Worshipping Jesus on the cross is a backward process. That’s like relating to your life 20 years ago\, when you are no longer doing what you did then.  To me\, people who hang Jesus on the cross and worship him in that form don’t know what’s going on\, because he got off the cross\, resurrected\, and walked among his people. \nSo that has to be your process.  And I don’t think you even need a cross to remind you of what happened.  You don’t have to hold yourself in the past in that way.  You can let it go and move to what is present now\, which is that the Christ is present\, living in your heart and in your consciousness. It’s we who have gone out for a walk\,” we invite you to come home to Christ in the present moment through our transformative 9-week class\, “Christ Is Now: Seeing Through the Eyes of Love.” \nOn Monday evenings\, 5:00 pm – 7:30 pm PT\, we’ll explore the profound wisdom of the mystics who discovered Christ’s living presence in everyday life—not as a historical figure or future promise\, but as the eternal Now experienced through love’s gaze. \nThroughout this workshop\, you’ll learn practical\, contemplative practices from remarkable sages. Their timeless teachings will help you recognize divine presence in both ordinary moments and in life’s challenges. Eyes that perceive Christ’s presence shimmering through all reality\, transforming how we experience relationships\, work\, nature\, and life’s inevitable challenges. \nThe Sacred Pause represents a deliberate interruption and a conscious stepping out of the pressures and rush of everyday life to enter the eternal Now where Christ’s presence dwells. Brother Lawrence described it as “the time of business does not differ from the time of prayer\,” suggesting that when we pause even briefly within our activities\, we can experience the same Christ-presence we might find in formal meditation. This pause isn’t about adding another task to our day but rather transforming our relationship with every moment. \nThese pauses aren’t escapes from reality but rather gateways into a deeper reality where Christ’s love permeates everything. We will discover how these intentional moments of presence gradually transform perception. A perception that reveals Christ’s face in the eyes of strangers\, in moments of both joy and difficulty\, and in the simple\, overlooked aspects of daily life that will suddenly shine with sacred significance. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\nI don’t relate to Jesus on the cross.  That would be foolish.  Worshipping Jesus on the cross is a backward process. That’s like relating to your life 20 years ago\, when you are no longer doing what you did then.  To me\, people who hang Jesus on the cross and worship him in that form don’t know what’s going on\, because he got off the cross\, resurrected\, and walked among his people. \nSo that has to be your process.  And I don’t think you even need a cross to remind you of what happened.  You don’t have to hold yourself in the past in that way.  You can let it go and move to what is present now\, which is that the Christ is present\, living in your heart and in your consciousness. John-Roger\, DSS \nWhy This Course? \nFollowing the words of the great Christian mystic Meister Eckhart\, “God is at home. A perception that reveals Christ’s face in the eyes of strangers\, in moments of both joy and difficulty\, and in the simple\, overlooked aspects of daily life that will suddenly shine with sacred significance. DESCRIPTION:  \nThe TL ETC Program provides graduates of the MSS program in Transcendent Leadership an opportunity to come together in a community of other graduates\, in support of each other’s continuing learning\, growth\, and expansion. The ETC Program is designed to provide beautiful opportunities to touch into that place of living love where we can focus on our intention and devotion toward deeper attunement to Spirit\, greater awareness of our unconditional loving for the Soul in each of us\, and our willingness to expand into the greatest expression of who we already are.
