This Christmas Eve seminar was held at John-Roger’s house in the early days of MSIA…. the days when 80 people gathered on Christmas Eve, instead of today’s broadcasts to the world! In the seminar, J-R says, “I made note last year in the Christmas Eve meditation, that when Jesus said, ‘I am the son of man,’ He really was saying ‘I am the Self’ — the Self of man, which is really the Christ action.” He tells a story of the Biblical Caiaphas, the high priest of the Jewish Sanhedrin. As new self-proclaimed messiahs appeared in that day, Caiaphas predicted that each new man would promise what he couldn’t deliver. “Then along came a man called Jesus,” J-R says, “and He didn’t promise anything and He didn’t claim anything. All He did was talk to people in a consciousness that they were already in." "How do we look at things through the eyes of the Master?", J-R asks. “Let’s each one now bring forth the Self that is you in the Christ Consciousness. It’s really easy to do by using your own creative consciousness. One thing you have to generate now within you,” he continues, “is a feeling of love for all mankind and for everything on the planet.” Tall order! As always, J-R illustrates his message with humble personal experience and with stories and examples. And this one comes with a sweet Christmas meditation beginning with, “The angels of Light are attending us…..” 8173
