January 1982 SAT | Twelve Approaches to Spirituality
January 1982 SAT Twelve Approaches to Spirituality #2619
How many times have you said to yourself, what is spirituality and am I spiritual? Well, it can be confusing, because getting to where you are now, you’ve probably experienced experts telling you how you should behave in order to be a spiritual person: fold your hands just like this, or pray just like that, or don’t ask questions, just have faith. Sound familiar?
John-Roger says in this seminar, “I want to know what these levels of religion or spirituality are, and I’d like to know where I am. And I’d like to know where all these people are who come at me with their various religious schemes, and tell me mine’s wrong. What am I supposed to say?”
In this seminar, J-R describes at least twelve ways that religions and people use to try to get you into their belief system, and then he speaks about the more open way that MSIA approaches spirituality. You already are spiritual, and it’s already within you.
