John-Roger begins the seminar this way. “There are some illusions that people get. And the illusions are all make believe for the most part. It’s almost as though you toss a coin in a fountain and make a wish. And then that’s supposed to handle your spiritual, physical, emotional, and relationship lives.” Of course, it’s pretty clear that we can’t live our lives based on illusions….. Isn’t it? “Now I’m going to tell you a gigantic secret about enlightenment,” J-R says. “I’m always talking about NOW, NOW, NOW. Enlightenment takes place, and maintains, in the NOW.” Within the rest of the seminar are practical details about what an enlightened experience is and how to ‘hold on to it.’
J-R says, “We must take the time to sit down and direct our consciousness towards God. Even if it isn’t apparent we’re getting anything back, the Spirit still supplies us. And once enlightened, you must continually do that that enlightened you. If you stop, this enlightenment won’t count for anything.”
