Attachment vs Detachment (Feb. '71)

TWI Premium

Personal

36:43

This seminar was originally released as the February 2007 SAT. It has now been released into the “Personal-Use” category and is available to those not subscribed to the Soul Awareness Teachings (SAT) Series.

If we can watch our own actions carefully, then we really don’t need the help of a Teacher or Guru.” With this statement, John-Roger begins this seminar detailing fundamental principles of freedom.

The operative words are “watch,” and “carefully,” and how many of us do that as we go about attaching ourselves to the 10% level of this physical world (as opposed to the 90% which is being handled at the spiritual level)? You know, judging ourselves for not being good enough, as opposed to relaxing and seeing ourselves through God’s eyes as more than “good enough.”

In this seminar, J-R demonstrates his caring sweetness while asking us to take care that we don’t get attached to that 10% (where loneliness and unfulfillment live) instead of observing ourselves and others….with carefulness.
