French Toast & Tree Trimming at Prana [with Photos]

An Ordinary Day At Prana

Imagine starting the day with fresh home-made French Toast.

MSIA president Mark Lurie, being the foodie that he is, generously shares his culinary gifts with Prana’s Residents and Long-Term Guests. It’s just another Thursday at Prana. Starting early in the morning, Prana’s kitchen smelled like cinnamon and we were all curious about what was going on.

It turned out that the french toast was delicious. Prana residents joined the group to start the day with a tasty breakfast with laughter amongst friends.

By the end of the workday, Kevin McMillen had started to prepare another round delicious food for the Tree Trimming Party, that would start at 7:30 pm.

Everything looked gorgeous and the Prana Foyer beautifully decorated while residents, staff, and visitors ate Christmas Treats. We had Santa Claus and Santa hats! And a heavenly performance by two of our Prana Residents, Miriam and Marjorie, who played festive Christmas Songs on the piano.

Spirit was so present as we played and laughed, with the joy, love, and Light that was present.

We invite you to come to Prana, for a day, a weekend, three months, or a year. It’s a place where we call ourselves forward into the Light consistently, celebrate Spirit’s joy and love, and rest in sacred beauty in Los Angeles.
