MSIA Presidency Update – January, 2023

With the 12 Days of Christmas over, 2023 is fully underway at MSIA as we plan and look forward to a dynamic year of Traveler energy immersion through classes, courses, staff travels, and of course, our own spiritual exercises and practices.

Thank you for your positive feedback on these Presidency updates, it lets us know that they are being well received and encourages us to continue to keep you informed of all the relevant activities going on in the MSIA universe – MSIA, PTS, Heartfelt, Peace Awareness Labyrinth and Gardens, and IIWP.

We are already gearing up for our annual Conference with the theme: The Power of Living Love.  Please save the dates for June 21 through June 26 for the primary events we all know and love. Once again, we will be taking a hybrid approach, with in-person events taking place at Prana, while offering online access to all who are staying at home.

Before Conference in June, there is Easter in April. Stay tuned for upcoming details on a new, Spirit-filled workshop called: The Upper Room, on Easter weekend.

We are just six months away from the start of the PTS Traveler Tour to Israel. The trip logistics are coming together beautifully, and John Morton is fully involved in every detail of the trip working with our tour operator to create a most magnificent experience. And congratulations to Elizabeth Frumin, our Traveler Tour raffle winner that was announced at December’s Living in Grace. The raffle prize was made possible through an anonymous donor and raised proceeds of over $10,000 which are being directed to the John-Roger Legacy fund.

The John-Roger Legacy Fund was set up within MSIA to ensure Spirit’s teachings of Soul Transcendence and practical spirituality, so beautifully and clearly expressed and charged by John-Roger, are available for future generations who are seeking this multidimensional offering. The Legacy Fund’s prime objective is to honor these wisdoms, by continuing to maintain the archives of this spiritual work and share it with the world.   Contributions to the John-Roger Legacy fund are always welcome.  You can learn more and contribute at https://www.msia.org/john-roger-archive-portal/john-roger-legacy-fund/.

As we know, the only thing permanent on this level is change. Anna Sugai is departing the MSIA presidency succession, but she will still very much be involved with MSIA work as a dedicated and valued volunteer and is continuing to work on the important ongoing projects she has been instrumental is ushering in.

After a lot of thought and inner searching, we approached Sherie Wylie to join the succession. She took her time to think and meditate on it as she realized the deep commitment involved. We are delighted to say that she accepted.  The current presidency succession, Jeffrey Morgan, David Jaramillo, and Sherie Wylie, have all agreed to be future leaders of MSIA as the current members of presidency step down. It is an ongoing process that we pray will play out perfectly, in Spirit’s timing.

Now back to a more mundane matter – a reminder that we have phased out the P.O. Box address for MSIA and now use Prana’s address exclusively as the preferred address to mail to us:

MSIA
3500 West Adams Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90018

God Bless you, and thank you for participating in MSIA and for all that you give in so many ways. As J-R would constantly remind us, “It is the loving that makes this work.” We love and appreciate you!
