A Week in Colorado with Our Traveler and Staff [with Photos]

Our movement of spiritual inner awareness began months before the arrival of our Traveler, John Morton, and staff. By signing up for an MSIA Service, the process of anticipation, clarification, and healing began. And, realizing there may be an opportunity to share with John Morton, to ask a question, to receive input or blessing also started the process of shifting and expansion. Holding John in our hearts, tapping into the Traveler within, created an openness that instantly responded to whatever questions came forward. The months prior were blessed in this way. The way was prepared and a loving space created for the arrival of John and staff. How that space was filled, is beyond words.

A blessing of staff being in town is the availability of MSIA Services. A special “thank you” to Vincent, Angel, and Bruce who have served our community in this way for years. The way they serve Spirit and the inner process is exemplary. Participating in a service started the week and created fertile ground for what was to follow — an Open Seminar of the Divine Presence with John, our Traveler, and Leigh Taylor-Young, our Ambassador. Before the seminar started there was a connecting and re-connecting with familiar community members and people new to the Movement. The spontaneous joy that was present was exhilarating. The Light and love present was palpable. When Leigh introduced John for the start of the Seminar, the Divine Presence was present…and is ongoing.

Our community events concluded with a Fundraising Dinner with the Traveler. Many participated in the dinner and the opportunity to share one-on-one with John. The inner process started the moment of signing up. The dinner itself crowned the cleansing, healing, peace and fulfillment on all levels. God bless you John and all that you do.

Filled to overflowing, our next journey began. It was off to the mountains and the When Are You Coming Home? retreat. There is something about the mountains that dwarfs our pettiness and humbles us to the eternalness and majesty of our divine process. The higher altitude lifts us to a higher attitude. The air is crisp, clear and clean. And the stars at night witness the closing of each day, at the same time awe-inspiring and humbling.

And then there was our facilitator, Pauli Sanderson, with assistance from Leigh. Pauli, and with our beloved John-Roger, are the authors of the book “When Are You Coming Home?” Pauli graced us here in Colorado to facilitate the retreat. As grateful as we were to have Pauli in Colorado, Pauli reciprocated with the same gratitude for being here. Especially appreciated were Pauli’s personal stories of how the book came about, her time with John-Roger and her relationship with him. Throughout the retreat there were questions and sharing with John Morton. And with John present in all this expansiveness, there were moments of honest revelation and awareness that we are going home. Through the Traveler’s assistance and grace, we are home right here right now and letting go of whatever clouds our awareness of that. As we walked away from the retreat we were as clean and clear as the mountain air, taking a portable paradise with us.

Special thanks to Leigh Taylor-Young and Sherie Wylie who worked tirelessly throughout the retreat. And a very special “thank you” to our man Roger Wakefield whose ceaseless and continuous demonstration of dedication, devotion and impeccability is an example to us all. I thought I knew about these things, especially hard work. Then I witnessed Roger. I am upping my game.

Those of us involved in the creation of the retreat started every planning meeting by reading our mission statement. It is the same mission statement that has served us for a workshop and two retreats over the last three years. Our mission statement is:

to be open to the loving that is present, awaken to the Christ within, and assist others to do the same.

It is immeasurable how our hearts have been opened, how we have awakened to the Christ within. And now we are on to our next steps, to move from awakening to the Christ and into awakening as the Christ — awakening each day as the Christ and living and experiencing from that place. The seeds are in place to have Awakening As the Christ as our retreat next year. We invite everyone to join us in the last part of our mission statement which is: to assist others to do the same. We invite you to join us in Colorado next year to assist others as you minister to yourself and participate in the land of high altitude and attitude. God Bless Us All.

In Loving Service,

Tom and Madonna Smyth
