The specific ministry is chosen by you in accordance with your own inner direction of service. The MSIA Ministry supports this choice to reach out and assist others in loving service. When ordained, you will receive a special blessing from Spirit that gives spiritual support to your ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Ordination is not for everyone and certainly not every person studying in MSIA becomes a minister.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">It is for anyone who is committed to a working relationship with the God of their heart and the Mystical Traveler Consciousness and who consider service an integral part of their life and would like to step into that, and share it, in a greater way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\">The primary prerequisites to become an MSIA minister are:<\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 14pt;text-align: left\">Minimum of two years of committed study with MSIA reading <a href=\"http:\/\/www.msia.org\/soul-awareness-discourses\" target=\"_blank\">Soul Awareness Discourses<\/a><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 14pt;text-align: left\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msia.org\/experience\/initiation-into-the-sound-current\" target=\"_blank\">Initiation<\/a> into the Sound Current (or approval for initiation)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 14pt;text-align: left\">Must be of legal age (varies by location)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;font-size: 14pt;text-align: left\">Commitment to active, ongoing service (often already in process)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Anyone who fulfills these guidelines may request an application for ordination,<br \/>\nwhich is reviewed by a board of MSIA ministers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a class=\"button\" href=\"mailto:genie@msia.org\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Request Application<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-18349 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.msia.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/ministry_lifestyle1.jpg\" alt=\"ministry_lifestyle1\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">To prepare for a ministry in MSIA, the most important aspects are studying Soul Awareness Discourses and establishing and strengthening your connection with the Mystical Traveler Consciousness.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/msia.org\/pts\" target=\"_blank\">Peace Theological Seminary<\/a> (PTS) also offers classes for discourses subscribers to learn more about the MSIA ministry, including The Spirit of the MSIA Ministry and the Ministry of Service. <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">Once you become a minister, there are a number of seminars, classes, workshops, and retreats to support you in your journey.<\/span><br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\"><a class=\"button\" href=\"http:\/\/www.msia.org\/soul-awareness-discourses\" target=\"_blank\">Learn About Soul Awareness Discourses<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The MSIA ministry is first and foremost a ministry of service.
