That’s how we look at who or what God is. All things. Known, unknown, past, present and future. – John Morton

This article is taken from a seminar that John Morton gave in Mexico City on September 5, 2006.

Often, we may question our existence. Perhaps we feel lost or that we don’t know what we are doing. Or maybe we think we know what we’re doing, but the world’s gone crazy. In any case, this is all part of the movement of spiritual inner awareness, which is an eternally traveling consciousness. We all have it, we always have had it, and we always will. Because always is always.

Consider the universe is some kind of continuous energy, in some way entirely connected, and it’s alive. My evidence? It’s moving. If we take a close look, a complete look, our lives really become one life.

Our existence is one life, all connected, all now. What is eternity? It is something that is entirely connected. In this dimension, time is part of reality. In this world, there’s a wonderful definition of time: “Time is the dimension such that everything doesn’t happen at once.” It spreads out, so on and so forth without end, without beginning, and here we are. That’s how we end up having a lot of fun. It’s alive. It’s spontaneous. It’s happening now.

If I could make sure of something, I’d make sure you don’t believe what I say. I invite you to take the responsibility you already have and determine reality directly from your own experience. In the movement of spiritual inner awareness, it’s not really an option. We live in a truth. The truth holds us all in responsibility.

Let’s consider there is a truth that applies to all. In truth we see variation. Inside each one is a variation of truth. Moment to moment, each expression varies. And yet, there’s a constant truth with each one, even as it changes.

John-Roger, founder of the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, and other organizations, has told us that the constant in this world is change. What does that tell us about the truth? It’s in constant variation, moving through different forms. The variation occurs in our experience as a way of knowing the truth is alive. There is a living truth.

This is where we start finding the subtlety of the movement of spiritual inner awareness. Who are you? Are you your body? Are you your personality? Are you your address or your bank account? What do others say about you? Maybe you’re glad you’re not always what people say about you or what you think of yourself. Have you ever called yourself nasty names or cursed yourself? I have. I stand correcting myself, laying claim to something much better.

Let me quote Jesus: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” [John 14:6 KJV]

Perhaps Jesus would shudder and cringe and say, “Look what people are doing with what I said! They’re so far from what I meant.” He also said: “Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.” [Matthew 24:4-5 KJV]

Even in terms of what I say, beware. Watch. Listen. Come to your experience. Come to your truth, the living truth of your existence. Do you have the courage? Or would you rather sell yourself out?

Someone may say, “Well, I think I’ll just buy somebody else’s truth. I’ll listen to what they claim as truth, learn to recite it and claim it must be true because I believe it. I’m so afraid inside I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know where I am, and I’m groping for something to believe in, even if I don’t know it to be so.”

That is not fulfilling your responsibility, to let what we think be what is true. Your direct experience, that’s the real authority. Where we truly know each other is a truth that transcends what we think. Our mind may be able to know a part of the truth. But the whole truth – that’s something that minds don’t behold.

Are you willing to say: “I don’t know everything.” Let’s consider that to be true. Confession is good for the Soul. The most complete and true self equals Soul. Confession is good for the most complete and true self.

What is confession? It is the acknowledgement of what is. Are you willing to do that? Do you ever catch yourself unwilling to do that? What would you say if we put it to the test of: “Is it complete and is it true?”

Why wouldn’t we tell the whole and complete truth? Two reasons: lack of sufficient love for yourself and because of fear. That fits my experience and also registers in how I relate to courage. Perhaps you’ve heard this before: “It takes great courage to see the face of God, to face what is God.”

Let me simplify the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness for you. “Out of God come all things.” That means there’s no exception. That’s how we look at who or what God is. All things. Known, unknown, past, present and future. Will you be worthy of what He has to give?

Consider that what has been taught about the Christ is about our life in the world and our life in the world to come. Do you have the courage to know? Whenever any of us have the unwillingness to confess our own truth, we enter into a case of separation. Consider it’s this world. We come in blind, relative to where we come from, relative to who we truly are.

Where we truly come from is where we as a Soul come from. It is a place that’s complete, true, fulfilled, happy and peaceful. If the truth calls upon you to change direction from what you thought was truth to what the truth is in your experience now, do you have that willingness? Would you confess it?

One of the followers of Jesus who found out about a death in his family said, “There’s a death in my family. I need to go be with my family.” Jesus said, “Let the dead bury the dead.” What did he mean by that? How can the dead bury the dead? This is Jesus speaking in parables again. He also said, “You go ahead,” to those with the eyes to see and the ears to hear.

What is the truth if it is not heard or seen? Does it exist if you don’t see it or consciously know it? The truth has its own authority.

I’m referred to as a Mystical Traveler. My responsibility is to look at who I am and share who I am openly, fully and completely. What I would tell you I know about the Mystical Traveler is: you are the Mystical Traveler. Now we’re talking degrees. Do you know it? Would you claim it?

You might say, “I don’t even know how to spell it.” Who says you have to know how to spell it or experience it? Perhaps it just reveals itself in you as you, exactly as you. When you wake up, the realization is: “I am always this.”

Here’s something else we tell you in MSIA. “You are never given anything you can’t handle.” We also say, “Love in all ways, always.” Love is you. All the forms are you. Love always is you. Would you be willing to confess that?

Do you know what faith is? What’s the difference between assumption, hallucination, fantasy, crazy and faith? Faith is in what is true. Even if consciously we have forgotten. In terms of the living truth, we’re like the walking dead. In terms of those who see God, we are blind. In terms of those who hear God’s word, we are deaf.

Confession is good for the Soul. If there is some room for us to wake up, to be more conscious of what is in fact the truth, are you willing to confess that? Are you willing to ask in your faith and your trust in God to bring you to the truth?

Love always works. Love always brings us to the truth of God. Any attempt to be less than God, spiritually won’t make it. Spiritually, we are never less than God. Spiritually, we’re always in all the forms of God in all ways.

If all things come out of God, then all people come out of God. There’s something else we say over and over: “God loves all Its creation.” God loves all of your creation in your entire existence, whatever you’re creating now or whatever is left to create. God loves it in the beginning. God loves it in the end, always and in all forms.

That’s the living truth. The Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness, regardless of the form it takes to get to the truth, will be directing you inside yourself immediately. Be more aware of your experience. Be willing to live your truth. Dispel and disperse whatever is not the truth. It returns to the nothingness from which it came.

Why attempt to live in something that’s dead? Do the dead bury the dead? It’s one big illusion. Why go back there if your life is here, if the living truth is before you walking right down that way?

Love all of you. Go ahead, I dare you. Open your heart right now. I open mine right now. Let’s meet in our hearts right now, having the courage to face the truth. If the truth is we are never to meet again, then let us have a parting that’s in love. I give my love to you because I know you in my heart. We know in the heart that is God, all is love. That’s our truth.

Baruch Bashan

WATCH A BLESSING WITH JOHN MORTON
[ooyala code=”9ha29oYzE6vE3vKQJjKPDQNYAwQl1kLX” player_id=”aa43b6107d2a4417b95db88e1cf7e01e” auto=”true” width=”1920″ height=”1080″]

Check out more articles by John Morton.

Let me simplify the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness for you. “Out of God come all things.” That means there’s no exception.
