This article comes from a seminar John gave in September 1992 in Bogot\u00e1, Colombia<\/strong><\/p>\n

You might consider that soul transcendence is presented to you in this lifetime, meaning do it before you die. Secure your Soul\u2019s level before you die.\u00a0 That\u2019s what the Traveler comes and offers, as well as the opportunity to ride.\u00a0 The Traveler is very practical, so the Traveler comes into the kindergarten class and talks to children about their destiny.\u00a0 The Traveler is one who knows that your destiny is to go to God.<\/p>\n

Travelers come forward physically to fulfill that destiny for those who are ready.\u00a0 When you are ready, you\u2019re chosen.\u00a0 Spirit does the choosing.\u00a0 The Traveler just cooperates, but it\u2019s an absolute cooperation.\u00a0 The Traveler is always holding up your progression.<\/p>\n

By \u201cholding up\u201d, I don\u2019t mean blocking.\u00a0 I mean presenting the next opportunity in the greatest way possible.\u00a0 What is interesting with that presentation is people don\u2019t do it.\u00a0 They don\u2019t get on the horse.\u00a0 They don\u2019t get on any horse, even an old horse that barely limps.\u00a0 In the world there are things besides horses, and they are often very attractive and ever so interesting in terms of the world.<\/p>\n

What is being addressed is the Traveler\u2019s gift to you.\u00a0 The Traveler is going to take you for a ride, but you have to be willing to get on and do it at the level that you are prepared for.<\/p>\n

Imagine a young child who sits in the stands of a horserace.\u00a0 The crowd, the excitement, the spectacular race, the celebrated winner, the cheering and applauding \u2013 and at that moment decides to be a champion jockey.\u00a0 In that same moment that young child wants to get on the horse and ride around the track.\u00a0 Do you suppose that child\u2019s parents would let them do that, knowing they had never been on a horse before?\u00a0 No.<\/p>\n

The caring and consideration for the child in that moment wouldn\u2019t allow for it.\u00a0 If the parents saw that it was a dream worth following, they would do whatever was in their power to support the child, like getting the child into riding school at a young age and finding the best training available.\u00a0 In the world there are also other things going on.\u00a0 Humans have to survive, so the parents also have to take care of the basics.<\/p>\n

The Traveler is also supporting you with your basic needs and your life as you live it to get the very best.\u00a0 The Traveler is also always looking at you as a champion who is destined to win the greatest race, so that\u2019s always kept in mind.\u00a0 If, along the way, you become frustrated or distracted by other things, the Traveler is not one who would force you to become a jockey.\u00a0 You are not forced to go for a ride. It\u2019s done with lots of choices every day and in every circumstance.<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s just call it the \u201cBig Race\u201d and the odds of any one of you winning the race might be less than one in a million.\u00a0 Those are slim odds.\u00a0 I can\u2019t tell you who\u2019s going to win this race of Soul Transcendence.\u00a0 This is not allowed for me to do.\u00a0 I don\u2019t have that knowledge and information at present, but I know its presence.\u00a0 Its presence is simply this\u2026. eventually you will win. You will win the big race.\u00a0 It\u2019s your destiny and it\u2019s established.<\/p>\n

If you knew that and also knew that was really what you wanted deep in your heart, you would go after this with great intention like anyone with a very powerful dream they pursue.\u00a0 Suppose it involves lots of sacrifice.\u00a0 The overwhelming majority of champions have a history of making much sacrifice.\u00a0 They put aside many choices their peers did not put aside.\u00a0 It\u2019s not unlike soul transcendence.<\/p>\n

If you want soul transcendence in this lifetime, act as though it\u2019s the great championship and the odds are at least one in a million.\u00a0 You are going to make it eventually, even though it may not be in this lifetime.\u00a0 When you know what it is, you\u2019ll choose it right now<\/em><\/strong> with all of your power and might.<\/p>\n

This is one of the commissions that Jesus left us.\u00a0 He stated it as, \u201cLove the Lord your God with all thy soul, with all thy might.\u201d [Deuteronomy 6:5]<\/p>\n

What it really was saying is with everything you\u2019ve got. This is soul transcendence.\u00a0 It is your destiny.\u00a0 Whether you do it with MSIA and John-Roger as your Traveler, you are going to do it with the Traveler at some point.\u00a0 That is the consciousness that does this.<\/p>\n

You could say, \u201cWell, I don\u2019t know\u2026\u201d as if somebody came up to a five-year-old and told them they would one-day be a grand champion.\u00a0 It\u2019s so rare and it\u2019s so easy to protest and hold back.\u00a0 The great challenge is to give with all your might.<\/p>\n

What is absolutely fascinating is this choice to do soul transcendence with all your might.\u00a0 It comes to you exactly where you live your life right now, who you\u2019re close to, and all the things you are involved in. That\u2019s all a part of it.\u00a0 The reality is it has nothing to do with the Earth except this is a place in God\u2019s creation because that is where you find yourself.\u00a0 You\u2019re here, not anywhere else.\u00a0 This is the place that is being offered to you.<\/p>\n

You are being reminded of the importance of what\u2019s asked of you in return if you want to do it in this lifetime.\u00a0 If you\u2019re willing to be casual, then it will take however long it takes.\u00a0 What is there to do differently?\u00a0 Practice Soul Transcendence all the time.\u00a0 Is that spiritual exercises all the time?\u00a0 I think that is a wonderful aspiration, to make your life a spiritual exercise.\u00a0 Of course, it already is.\u00a0 We\u2019re all just waking up.<\/p>\n

The practice is in living the divine presence so that every opportunity becomes a spiritual awakening.\u00a0 That\u2019s what it always is.\u00a0 If you feel like your life is lacking and one big struggle, that is you who has misdirected yourself.\u00a0 When you are in the way with Spirit in the movement of spiritual awareness and getting close to a being level and not just a doing level, it\u2019s just so easy!\u00a0 It\u2019s an inner process of ease.<\/p>\n

There are also things in this world that, by their nature, would attempt to sabotage you.\u00a0 Have you ever had people who are jealous of you, envious or resentful?\u00a0 They thought negatively, ill or violently towards you, and even threatened you?\u00a0 Those are obstacles, so it isn\u2019t always a smooth track.<\/p>\n

In this setting and gathering, it\u2019s a smooth track.\u00a0 Experts come out for the race and groom the track.\u00a0 Trainers take care of the horses and make sure their equipment is the very best it can be.\u00a0 The owners of the horse make sure they get the best care possible.\u00a0 The support for you here is tremendous.\u00a0 But when you go out in the world into other circumstances, there can be lots of obstacles.\u00a0 Maybe you have to buy your own horse or equipment from a church sale or flea market.\u00a0 The circumstances of support for you being a spiritual warrior change as soon as you move out into the world.<\/p>\n

In MSIA, the primary, central, highest priority all-important business is soul transcendence.\u00a0 That is what we are about so that\u2019s our focus here.\u00a0 When you come here with that purpose, you get very powerful support.\u00a0 When you go out into the world and do what we call the \u201cten-percent\u201d, that\u2019s a horse of a different color.\u00a0 It can be difficult and challenging.\u00a0 I know that.\u00a0 We know that already.\u00a0 It is understood.\u00a0 Nonetheless, keep it up.\u00a0 Keep going.<\/p>\n

If you fall off a horse and you are a real champion, you get back on.\u00a0 If you manage to get in the race and still lose, and have an opportunity next year, if you are a champion, you enter.\u00a0 You take advantage of every opportunity, no matter what gets in the way.<\/p>\n

Somebody might say, \u201cYou\u2019re too old, let the younger ones race.\u00a0 Forget it.\u00a0 Wait until next lifetime.\u00a0 Get a better Traveler.\u201d\u00a0 Well, maybe you will.\u00a0 I know that this Traveler, the one that holds the power of this school that is present, is looking at you as a champion now<\/em><\/strong> and treats you as such.<\/p>\n

That means there\u2019s not a lot of time to mess around.\u00a0 We\u2019ve got to practice day in and day out.\u00a0 It\u2019s our full-time occupation.\u00a0 Everything we do, we do to get onto the track and win that race.\u00a0 The Traveler doesn\u2019t do it without you. It\u2019s your race.\u00a0 You are the one that is going to win.<\/p>\n

You need to tap into the enthusiasm within you, the energy that is God\u2019s energy.\u00a0 That\u2019s the energy that makes you a champion.\u00a0 That\u2019s the energy that conducts you into God.\u00a0 It is the one who\u2019s known you from the beginning, watched over you, been with you protecting you, counseling you, disciplining you and bringing you everything needed in your life.\u00a0 That one.\u00a0 That\u2019s who it is.\u00a0 Isn\u2019t it amazing that presence is so subtle that if you don\u2019t make the effort, it\u2019s easy to miss out on the opportunity?<\/p>\n

You have to take the initiative.\u00a0 Declare yourself to be a champion.\u00a0 A spiritual warrior is one who walks this path.\u00a0 The destiny on this path is moving into the Christ, the Traveler, the Holy Spirit and becoming one with God.\u00a0 That is the destiny.\u00a0 Looking from this part of God\u2019s creation, it looks like just talk.\u00a0 The only way you know it, is by your experience.<\/p>\n

It is important for me to be here with you.\u00a0 This is the way I ride.\u00a0 This is the way I fulfill my destiny.\u00a0 You are very much a part of it.\u00a0 This part of my destiny involves you and others who are spiritual warriors in the making.<\/p>\n

The way we relate to each other personally is uncomfortable at best. That is a testimony that the Spirit overcomes the uncomfortableness, so we get to partake in the fellowship of the Spirit.\u00a0 We are friends and companions.\u00a0 There are these kinds of moments that have a sacredness and solemnity.\u00a0 I view it as more of an honoring through the silence.\u00a0 At times there really is nothing to say.<\/p>\n

I also want to extend the friendship in that relationship a Traveler has with initiates, ministers and those who are on this path.\u00a0 It is of the blood, and that makes it holy as we share a common Father.\u00a0 I want to remind you there are lots of opportunities for joy, play and to not take ourselves seriously.\u00a0 It\u2019s a reminder amongst us to take every opportunity to be light and lift.\u00a0 That is something that we will look at as another opportunity.<\/p>\n

Right now, I would love to leave you in this beautiful place until we meet again.\u00a0 Find a place of peace inside yourself as you consider this:<\/p>\n

God is listening.<\/p>\n

All the power of God is with you.<\/p>\n

Now you can transform.<\/p>\n

The opportunity before you is to take on a new identity,<\/p>\n

an identity in a higher place with God.<\/p>\n

So, look now to God, look inside for that presence<\/p>\n

and be open to see, to hear, to feel a new you.<\/p>\n

One who has been chosen greater of God.<\/p>\n

How high can you go?<\/p>\n

Yes, you have to let go.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s so easy to let go when God is with you.<\/p>\n

Can you feel God\u2019s hands lifting you<\/p>\n

or the arms of the angels and the Light?<\/p>\n

The Light is lifting you.<\/p>\n

You must be the Light.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re lighter than the Light.<\/p>\n

And listen to the sound.<\/p>\n

The sound is transforming you.<\/p>\n

Let go.<\/p>\n

There is nothing to hang on to.<\/p>\n

The power of God has you completely.<\/p>\n

You are protected.<\/p>\n

You are safe and secure.<\/p>\n

There is a revelation present.<\/p>\n

Let your mind experience the revelation.<\/p>\n

Love your mind.<\/p>\n

Love all the parts of you that resist.<\/p>\n

Love the human form.<\/p>\n

See the perfection.<\/p>\n

God\u2019s gifts are bestowed upon you.<\/p>\n

Do you accept?<\/p>\n

Unworthiness has no part with you.<\/p>\n

You are chosen of God and this is your destiny.<\/p>\n

It is done.<\/p>\n

Blessing the Way into Soul Transcendence<\/p>\n

Lord, we are open<\/p>\n

and in the ways we are claiming to be open, but we are not open,<\/p>\n

we ask that You adjust us, that You clear us,<\/p>\n

You release us from the unnecessary forms of restrictions<\/p>\n

we have placed upon ourselves.<\/p>\n

We especially ask for that in the unconscious, subconscious levels<\/p>\n

where we habitually continue the forms that would keep us restricted<\/p>\n

in unnecessary ways<\/p>\n

that are not serving the highest good.<\/p>\n

That in Your perfect wisdom<\/p>\n

in your perfect mercy and love,<\/p>\n

You bring to us a release, a clearing, a balancing, and healing.<\/p>\n

And in that way, You turn to those of us who have this need<\/p>\n

for greater forgiveness.<\/p>\n

If the direction is to forgive thyself,<\/p>\n

that it is upon each one of us<\/p>\n

to do what that is in our way<\/p>\n

for whatever applies in releasing and letting go of any judgments,<\/p>\n

any negative forms, any disturbances from any existence.<\/p>\n

When it has been done in this way,<\/p>\n

we are released from the karmic flow that is no longer necessary.<\/p>\n

We find ourself moving into soul consciousness,<\/p>\n

Soul liberation, soul transcendence,<\/p>\n

that is the oneness with God<\/p>\n

the eternal nature<\/p>\n

that is always loving in all ways<\/p>\n

in the living truth that abides in all of Creation<\/p>\n

as the eternal truth.<\/p>\n

Regardless of what we are doing in a temporary form,<\/p>\n

this life in this day in this life<\/p>\n

in this moment in this life,<\/p>\n

You reveal again we are always in movement,<\/p>\n

and this is the living force.<\/p>\n

And this movement is going to God,<\/p>\n

going into all that is good,<\/p>\n

all that is blessed.<\/p>\n

Then You remind us that this is to be shared,<\/p>\n

that we have a loving, sharing and caring God.<\/p>\n

This is our way.<\/p>\n

This is the way.<\/p>\n

So, what is upon us is to rise up,<\/p>\n

not partially but completely,<\/p>\n

in the anointing that is the Holy Spirit and the Christ.<\/p>\n

In this way, we become the living truth,<\/p>\n

we become the Light,<\/p>\n

we become the love,<\/p>\n

that this world is in need of.<\/p>\n

And if we are here in the world, we are in need of this love.<\/p>\n

We are part of the need for greater love.<\/p>\n

We just take a moment to hold for that transformation<\/p>\n

to the greater love.<\/p>\n

In whatever parts of our creation have resisted or have blocked,<\/p>\n

have attempted to stop or deny,<\/p>\n

we have the opportunity now to eternally set the tone<\/p>\n

in God\u2019s will being done.<\/p>\n

To love all of Its creation,<\/p>\n

and to move us into the fullness of what that can become.<\/p>\n

This day we are one with God.<\/p>\n

Always in always ways.<\/p>\n

Yes, I said that.<\/p>\n

Always in always ways.<\/p>\n

The eternal nature, this loving.<\/p>\n
