{"id":110337,"date":"2021-01-29T12:11:46","date_gmt":"2021-01-29T20:11:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/?p=110337"},"modified":"2021-01-29T12:11:46","modified_gmt":"2021-01-29T20:11:46","slug":"the-traveler-smiles-within-you","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/archives\/110337-the-traveler-smiles-within-you","title":{"rendered":"The Traveler Smiles Within You"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>&#8220;I encourage people, as John-Roger did, to take care of themselves.\u00a0 We get &#8216;out of whack&#8217; when we\u2019re not really caring for ourself to the best of our ability.\u00a0 Most of that is loving yourself and then keeping yourself in a state where you are getting to a smile.&#8221; <\/em>&#8211; John Morton <!--\/raw--><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The following article comes from a sharing John Morton had in early January 2021 with participants of The Harmonic Self Year 2 class, a class offered by Peace Theological Seminary and College of Philosophy.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I encourage people, as John-Roger did, to take care of themselves.\u00a0 We get \u201cout of whack\u201d when we\u2019re not really caring for ourself to the best of our ability.\u00a0 Most of that is loving yourself and then keeping yourself in a state where you are getting to a smile.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t have to have an excuse to smile.\u00a0 Smile just to smile!\u00a0 I\u2019m practicing it right now and you can demonstrate it also.\u00a0 Come on and smile! \u00a0This type of experience helps you get to joy.<\/p>\n<p>Why smile? Experience peace, joy and good regard for people and things.\u00a0 That can bring a smile.\u00a0 If you have a good attitude, a good way of looking at your life in this world, that\u2019s important.<\/p>\n<p>If you don\u2019t have a good attitude, it can \u201cmuck up\u201d to some degree (not totally) what can be done for you spiritually.\u00a0 It\u2019s as if you are locked down with a consciousness that is caught in the negativity, when it could be flowing into the spiritual awareness opportunity we are all getting with our Traveler.<\/p>\n<p>Notice how I said we are all getting a spiritual opportunity with our Traveler, regardless?\u00a0 The Traveler doesn\u2019t stop in spite of us unless we direct it that way.\u00a0 That\u2019s important.\u00a0 Just allow the Traveler to work with you, but don\u2019t assume that.\u00a0 Reignite that every day.<\/p>\n<p>Do an invocation in your life. Make sure you invoke the Traveler Consciousness, and through your Traveler.\u00a0 There is a Traveler assigned to you in a very personal direct way.\u00a0 It is like a companion you would know by name, where you go, \u201cThat is my Traveler.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the Traveler Consciousness, the line of the Traveler, where I like to go with what that is, we are all one.\u00a0 The form is the least of it.\u00a0 There are ways you would know the Traveler is with you.<\/p>\n<p>It can be, \u201cI see purple light.\u00a0 The Traveler is here.\u201d\u00a0 Good.\u00a0 Do I need to count the fingers and toes to make sure I got all of the Traveler here?\u00a0 I don\u2019t know that you have to do that.\u00a0 It\u2019s with you in whatever is going on.\u00a0 That\u2019s a really good sign.<\/p>\n<p>The Traveler is with you, a companion along the way, letting you have direct experience, so you learn.\u00a0 You pick up your Traveler Consciousness so you start owning it.\u00a0 It\u2019s never a possession, but rather an ability and authority that comes to and through you.\u00a0 You can develop it like spiritual muscles.\u00a0 Then you start acting like a Traveler would act.<\/p>\n<p>Really?\u00a0 You can do that?\u00a0 Yes, of course you can.\u00a0 It\u2019s assigned to you for that opportunity as part of your spiritual heritage that you pick up. It\u2019s a master consciousness that would say, \u201cYes, it is a spiritual mastership.\u201d It\u2019s not concerned about individuality like, \u201cYou are my Traveler and you\u2019re not.\u201d\u00a0 Don\u2019t get into that.\u00a0 But, yes, I am one working with you so it\u2019s important to have some recognition and acknowledgement here, so that you are comfortable when I come close.<\/p>\n<p>Some people have issues about that, like \u201cWhat are you doing in my bedroom? I don\u2019t want you here.\u201d\u00a0 Well, the Traveler is with you.\u00a0 The Traveler is in you.\u00a0 Up in higher consciousness where it\u2019s all known, there are no secrets from God. That is ludicrous.\u00a0 It\u2019s all known.\u00a0 It\u2019s also love, and it\u2019s about laughter as in joyful.<\/p>\n<p>As you get into the Traveler and go up, in a way it\u2019s all a laughing matter.\u00a0 It was never serious. \u00a0There was never a condemnation that you were wrong, bad or despicable and no self-respecting Traveler should hang around you.\u00a0 Give up all that nonsense.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s up to you.\u00a0 It\u2019s your life.\u00a0 It\u2019s all known.\u00a0 In a lot of ways, the Traveler doesn\u2019t care what you are doing with your socks and things that are personal to you.\u00a0 That\u2019s for you to work out.\u00a0 You decide what you eat, wear, and who you hang out with.\u00a0 Those are your choices.\u00a0 There is a lot of freedom in that level.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s okay when things come across as awkward.\u00a0 I\u2019d say that to all of us.\u00a0 Don\u2019t worry about it being awkward.\u00a0 Working things out in this world has a lot of clumsiness, density and disagreement, like, \u201cI don\u2019t like the way you said that or did that or didn\u2019t say that.\u201d\u00a0 If we all spend our time on what we don\u2019t like or what didn\u2019t work or where we were in disagreement, it\u2019s not much fun.\u00a0 Get to the fun!<\/p>\n<p>One thing I would say to all is, \u201cEnjoy your day.\u201d\u00a0 There may be some kind of craziness there where people think you are weird or odd.\u00a0 If you are having fun, who cares?\u00a0 It\u2019s like saying, \u201cI\u2019m not offending or bothering you with my behavior.\u00a0 I\u2019m laughing!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Some may say, \u201cYou shouldn\u2019t be laughing.\u00a0 This is a solemn occasion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d say that children don\u2019t think like that.\u00a0 They want to laugh and play.\u00a0 Jesus called this out.\u00a0 You want to go to the Kingdom?\u00a0 The best way would to be like a pure innocent, open, adventurous child who is not concerned with what you think about them.\u00a0 Remember that phase in our lives?\u00a0 There was a time when we were very self-centered.\u00a0 That was good because we didn\u2019t really care what someone thought, and we would let them know if we didn\u2019t like it.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually we had to take others into consideration in ways that were loving and caring versus, \u201cI hereby order you to stop that and you have to obey or off with your head.\u201d\u00a0 To me, that is way out of line when we get like that, trying to control our life, or when we try to control somebody else\u2019s life.<\/p>\n<p>Direct your life. Focus your life, and say, \u201cThat is mine. That\u2019s my choice.\u201d Do it well.\u00a0 Have a life well lived.\u00a0 When I say the best is yet to come, I\u2019m looking spiritually but I\u2019m not excluding the world.\u00a0 The infusion, the allowance, the epiphany, the revelation of the best day in our whole existence can take place in this lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>You don\u2019t have to die to have the experience of the best has come.\u00a0 It\u2019s a movement.\u00a0 It\u2019s alive.\u00a0 Even with whatever is the best in this moment, it\u2019s going to be even better and the best yet.<\/p>\n<p>Is it always like that?\u00a0 No.\u00a0 There are peaks and valleys in this world.\u00a0 Don\u2019t be discouraged by a so-called \u201cawful\u201d day.\u00a0 Okay, it was an awful day.\u00a0 What could go wrong went wrong.\u00a0 All right, but I\u2019m still working on having a good day here.\u00a0 Let it go and understand that opportunity is always with us.<\/p>\n<p>It is a living opportunity to be in our joy, peace and to find a smile.\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s somebody else\u2019s smile.\u00a0 Maybe you see someone else smiling and say, \u201cDo you mind telling me what you are smiling about?\u00a0 I really want to smile and don\u2019t seem to be able to keep smiling.\u00a0 Maybe if you shared what you are smiling about, some of that could come my way and I could smile.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>They might say, \u201cSorry, I\u2019m not here for that.\u201d\u00a0 Or maybe they really do something profound because you were seeking a smile.\u00a0 You were willing to go to them and say, \u201cI\u2019m looking for a smile and you are smiling so I found it with you, and I\u2019d like to find it with myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Traveler smiles within you.<\/p>\n<p>God bless you.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4>Blessing of Freedom in the Lord<\/h4>\n<p>Lord God, into the Traveler Consciousness we place ourself.<\/p>\n<p>May we give ourself fully and freely in this moment,<\/p>\n<p>once again taking on our sacred oath that was declared in<\/p>\n<p>spirit, that You know us, and we know You.\u00a0 We ask for<\/p>\n<p>Your strength and Your courage that we can go forward doing<\/p>\n<p>all that You have prepared for us with ease and grace as that is<\/p>\n<p>Your way.\u00a0 We accept Your blessing of fulfillment, knowing that<\/p>\n<p>we go free in Your love and light and sound.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Note:\u00a0 The above blessing comes from John Morton\u2019s book, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/shop\/product\/blessings-here-and-now\/\">Blessings Here and Now<\/a>\u201d that is available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/shop\/product\/blessings-here-and-now\/\">MSIA website store<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h4>WATCH A MOMENT OF PEACE AND JOY WITH JOHN MORTON AND JOHN-ROGER<\/h4>\n\t\t<!-- Start of Brightcove Player -->\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div style=\"display: block;
