“When a Soul is stirred to awaken, to move on into its greater awareness, the paradoxes of life are placed before it to see if, in the expression of this part of God\u2019s kingdom, it has indeed expressed Godliness.”<\/em> – John-Roger<\/p>\n This article by John-Roger was first published in the Movement Newspaper, December 1975<\/strong><\/p>\n When a Soul is stirred to awaken, to move on into its greater<\/strong> awareness, the paradoxes of life are placed before it to see if, in the expression of this part of God\u2019s kingdom, it has indeed expressed Godliness.\u00a0 And, because this physical level is a composite of all levels (imaginative, emotional, mental, and unconscious, as well as physical) we can clear things faster from the physical level than from any other level below the Soul.\u00a0 So the Soul brings together the elements necessary to create a physical embodiment.\u00a0 The Soul can do this; the Soul can do anything it wishes to do.\u00a0 It will embody onto this physical realm because it knows it can reveal itself faster from here than from any other level.<\/p>\n The Soul is a powerful creator.\u00a0 It will bring forward those things for which the consciousness asks, whether in this lifetime or in another lifetime.\u00a0 But often that which you asked for cannot be given to you here on this physical level.\u00a0 So you must wait until you reach the other levels to get it.\u00a0 If you have asked for things of a physical nature,\u00a0 and you leave this body, you may go to the astral realm, which is the realm closest to the physical.\u00a0 Then you are aware of what you asked for of the physical nature, and when you get it there, it can become greatly disturbing to your astral body.\u00a0 So you seek the purification from that.\u00a0 And this purification is traditionally called \u201chell\u201d or \u201c purgatory\u201d, which isn\u2019t a negative process.\u00a0 It\u2019s positive; it\u2019s the purification.\u00a0 It\u2019s getting rid of the last entanglement of the physical.<\/p>\n God, in His perfect consciousness, has placed out certain patterns that each consciousness, each Soul must fulfill.\u00a0 And all humans will fulfill the patterns in their own timing.\u00a0 There are more rapid ways and there are less rapid ways.\u00a0 If, indeed, you can be taught, then the Soul will awaken itself on the physical level, dissolve all karmic bondage, and you will be aware of the Soul on this level and on all other levels.\u00a0 At that moment, you become what we call the \u201cliving free.\u201d\u00a0 There will not be one thing you can do that will not be perfect in the sight of God \u2013 not one thing.\u00a0 But you\u2019re not going to be doing anything that would not be in balance with who and where you are.\u00a0 Other people may look at you or your actions and condemn you, but what does that matter?\u00a0 They\u2019re condemning everybody \u2013 not just you.\u00a0 When I hear somebody talking or saying something negative about people close to me or about myself, I just look at them because I know that if they are talking about me, they\u2019re talking about everyone.\u00a0 Why should I have concern because they\u2019ve singled me out?\u00a0 Their gossip will come back to sit with them to be worked out at another time, because that is the law.\u00a0 It\u2019s nice to recognize that the Soul holds itself responsible for all its actions and creations.\u00a0 The consciousness may try to \u201cget away with something\u201d or may try to fool itself and lull itself into patterns of unawareness, but the Soul says, \u201cThese things I am. These are things for which I am responsible. These things I will fulfill right down to the last farthing.\u201d\u00a0 And the Soul fulfills all things within itself.<\/p>\n The Soul, which is the essence of God within, is responsible.\u00a0 Ultimately, it is the author of all your actions.\u00a0 So pass the authorship to where it belongs.\u00a0 Jesus said, \u201cOf myself I can do nothing. The Father within does all things,\u201d the Father being the God within or the Soul or what ever higher concept or term you care to use.\u00a0 Often we call it the Light.\u00a0 Jesus said, \u201cI am the Light and the Truth and the Way.\u201d\u00a0 Buddha said, \u201cI am the Light of Asia.\u201d\u00a0 The Light<\/strong> that springs eternally is the Light<\/strong> of which we are speaking.\u00a0 It is the pure energy of Spirit.<\/p>\n When the Soul leaves the physical realm and starts upward, it\u2019s very easy to drop the imagination, very easy to drop the emotions, very easy to drop the mind.\u00a0 But when you go to the etheric level, the unconscious, you may look into the unconscious and see it reflect back to you the glories of the earth, and you enter into an identification with that and reincarnate again.\u00a0 One way to break through the realm of the unconscious into the Soul is to be working with one who has the keys, the knowledge, and the ability to show you the illusion of the unconscious and the way through it into Soul.\u00a0 But often the unconscious is so strong in it\u2019s pulling back to the physical, in the remembrance of the emotions and the desires, that it will not heed the wayshower, and it steps back into re-embodiment.<\/p>\n When you get up very high from the earth, it will look like a paradise, a garden of Eden.\u00a0 I think one of the astronauts said this when he got up quite high physically.\u00a0 And when you get high in your consciousness and look back, you may say, \u201cWow, that\u2019s paradise,\u201d and impel yourself back again.\u00a0 There\u2019s a lot of reasons why the Soul will keep coming back.\u00a0 In a way, it is<\/strong> a paradise here, but it is not as yet in the higher realms of Light and Love.\u00a0 You can live here in the physical body and reside in heaven \u2013 by being aware of both levels simultaneously.\u00a0 How do you do that?\u00a0 You get enough practice of what this level is, until you know<\/strong> what this level is; then you stop doing this, and you automatically start doing that.<\/p>\n To know consciously of the other side, you must shut your mouth to this side.\u00a0 You must not be the teacher.\u00a0 You must be the student.\u00a0 When you explain something to someone, don\u2019t feel that they HAVE to understand it, that they HAVE to get it.\u00a0 That\u2019s cramming it down their throats, and no one\u2019s going to swallow that.\u00a0 You present a point of view to them and let them look at it.\u00a0 If they don\u2019t move on it, perhaps it wasn\u2019t for them.\u00a0 Perhaps they\u2019ve already moved on it in another dimension.\u00a0 Perhaps they are yet to experience that moving.\u00a0 Non-interference is so tremendously important.\u00a0 It is so important to allow each consciousness, each Soul, the freedom to evolve into it\u2019s own awareness in it\u2019s own timing.\u00a0 Mahatma Gandhi, before he was released from the physical body, knew full well that his assassination was coming.\u00a0 A detective said, \u201cLet me protect you; let me go with you.\u201d\u00a0 Mahatma Gandhi asked what else he would bring with him.\u00a0 He said, \u201cMy gun.\u201d\u00a0 Gandhi said. \u201cDon\u2019t come with your gun; leave your gun.\u201d\u00a0 The detective said, \u201cI can\u2019t do that.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t protect you without my gun.\u201d\u00a0 Gandhi said, \u201cThen it isn\u2019t you who protects me; it\u2019s your gun.\u201d\u00a0 Force does not do it.\u00a0 But as we just stand beside another person, and support them with our love and Light \u2013 that helps.\u00a0 Gandhi was not going to let anybody interfere with the order of things, least another be shot in his name.\u00a0 Within his consciousness he would much rather be murdered than be the murderer.\u00a0 Gandhi was a great Soul, and he knew his Soul in consciousness.<\/p>\n That same awareness of Soul is ours for the taking, but we must do it.\u00a0 We must manifest the same teachings that have been taught all along.\u00a0 Love is.\u00a0 It is non-interfering.\u00a0 It\u2019s supporting.\u00a0 It\u2019s that thing that says,\u00a0 \u201cLook, I may not understand all that is going on, but that doesn\u2019t mean that you can\u2019t do it, just because I don\u2019t understand it.\u201d\u00a0 Love is.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know the words; the vocabulary seems strange to me, but that doesn\u2019t mean it\u2019s not valid and that it can\u2019t be worked.\u201d\u00a0 The first time I heard the dialect of an African country. I said, \u201cI certainly don\u2019t know what that is, but the people who are communicating do.\u201d\u00a0 Or sometimes you\u2019ll hear people talking about physics\u00a0 or a particular branch of engineering or computer sciences, and you\u2019ll say, \u201cI can\u2019t understand a word they say, but they know.\u201d\u00a0 Those who are doing it understand.\u00a0 And for those who are not doing it, it isn\u2019t necessary, at that point, that they understand.\u00a0 Maybe you don\u2019t need to understand computer programming.\u00a0 Maybe you need to understand yourself.\u00a0 And when you do this, you find out what it\u2019s like to walk with the Beloved.\u00a0 God bestows grace upon every Soul because God bestows grace upon Itself.\u00a0 And through that grace, It is saying, \u201cEverything is all right.\u201d<\/p>\n Baruch Bashan<\/p>\nWatch a short video with John-Roger on Mystery School Initiation to Awaken to the Self<\/h4>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t
