In some way we are saying we can add to the blessing that already is.”<\/em> – John Morton <\/p>\n This article comes from a Soul Transcendence Seminar John Morton gave on May 5, 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n When requesting a blessing, I often heard John-Roger say to be careful what you ask for.\u00a0 Be careful how you say things.\u00a0 If you are directing the spirit that is coming through you by what you say and think, be very aware of the way you are saying it.\u00a0 What is in that may be what works beautifully because it can work through what you are setting forth as the instrument.\u00a0 You are the instrument.<\/p>\n Pray to God fervently, with all your heart and body.\u00a0 That can be something that is very powerful as people experience the spirit moving them.\u00a0 My message to you is the situation is blessed and has been blessed. Could it be more blessed?\u00a0 Yes. In some way we are saying we can add to the blessing that already is.<\/p>\n How would we do that?\u00a0 I\u2019m glad you asked.\u00a0 It\u2019s important to do it at the highest quality. Whatever we are asking would be the greatest blessing we could ask for. \u00a0How would we know that if we don\u2019t know everyone in everything?\u00a0 Even if we knew what was going on now, we wouldn\u2019t necessarily know what is coming up.\u00a0 How would we ask for a blessing that would serve what is about to happen?<\/p>\n What we often bring forward is the \u201chighest good.\u201d\u00a0 What we are asking is a blessing for the highest good.\u00a0 That can be like God asking, \u201cWhat would you want my beloved?\u201d It\u2019s as if you got the genie out of the bottle who then says, \u201cYour wish is my command.\u201d\u00a0 What would you wish?<\/p>\n Putting that into God\u2019s intelligence and awareness is a great blessing.\u00a0 Often what is available to us is the opportunity to give the blessing to God and to ask God to do what would be best.\u00a0 It can be towards a particular situation, person, family, community or a country.\u00a0 God is in the consciousness that has the power to bless an entire country.<\/p>\n One of the great teachings \u2013 not just through MSIA \u2013 is that with God all things are possible.\u00a0 We go for the greatest blessing.\u00a0 I would say it in that way.\u00a0 That may be very particular, including what you would want as a blessing for yourself.\u00a0 There is nothing in violation there to ask for a blessing for yourself.\u00a0 How would you do that?\u00a0 How would you call upon God?\u00a0\u00a0 You can be very simple in your language as a way of addressing God.\u00a0 I find a sense of intimacy that we, God and I, know each other.\u00a0 We know each other personally. The divine consciousness is my friend.<\/p>\n Consider that God is in God\u2019s dimension, and we are in this world.\u00a0 That may mean that it\u2019s not so easy to see or hear God.\u00a0 It may be easy for some that have direct experiences with some way of connecting to who and what God is.\u00a0 I encourage people to be open to that experience.\u00a0 Maybe some of us had that when we were children and are still aware of these kinds of connections.<\/p>\n I\u2019m also seeing the importance of being grateful for what you have.\u00a0 What is present is a blessing.\u00a0 Be in gratitude and able to say, \u201cThank you, God. Thank you, Lord.\u201d That may be all you need to say.<\/p>\n There is an opportunity for blessing in how you, or we, can serve so we would become servants of God\u2019s blessing.\u00a0 If we want a situation, person or a group of people to be blessed, there is an opportunity for us to be involved and step forward to help in some way.\u00a0 Consider that what we are asking for is also for people to come forward and serve to help the situation.<\/p>\n There is also an opportunity to serve and bless yourself, especially as that would help others and help you to help others.\u00a0 Even though I\u2019ve been in some ways describing blessings, what I\u2019m describing is taking place.\u00a0 When you ask for a blessing, consider there is greater blessing now because you asked for it.\u00a0 Blessings are auspicious.\u00a0 That means the blessings already are.<\/p>\n Baruch Bashan<\/p>\n Father, Mother, God we give thanks for Your blessings. Blessing of Opening to Greater Blessings<\/h4>\n
\nWe do fully claim whatever You bring to us for ourselves,
\nfor one another, for all of Your creation.
\nThat we can behold what is Your purpose
\nand Your will being done.
\nAnd we ask for greater blessings.
\nWe open ourselves up to the greatest blessings
\nthat are for our highest good to receive at this time.
\nAnd as Your instruments of divine action,
\nwe do call this forward for ourselves in love and Light and joy,
\nso we can behold ourselves in this world.
\nThat this is a world of peace and harmony.
\nAnd wherever that needs to be restored
\nin the hearts and consciousness of each one,
\nin our relationships, in all the various dimensions
\nand all the various cultures,
\nlet us see a vision right here and now
