“I\u2019d say we\u2019re not really from this world.\u00a0 This is not our world.\u00a0 What are we doing here?\u00a0 It\u2019s a fair question.\u00a0 We are learning what we need to learn.\u00a0 Some of that is just pure experience…”<\/em> – John Morton <\/p>\n This article comes from a sharing John Morton had in May 2021 with the Doctor of Spiritual Science class.<\/strong><\/p>\n There is knowing which is complete knowing. It has been called the certainty of the Soul that John-Roger talked about.\u00a0 In the teachings, you will find more information that the truth has a complete quality.\u00a0 It\u2019s not a partial truth.\u00a0 There is no such thing.\u00a0 Can it move?\u00a0 Can it shift and change?\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 It\u2019s a living truth that is alive.<\/p>\n One of the ways you would know something is alive is that it is moving.\u00a0 That\u2019s why I say even things that are minerals are alive.\u00a0 There is life in a rock.\u00a0 Go in at the atomic level and see what you see.\u00a0 Of course, that would take some special devices to allow us to see at that level.\u00a0 We would see movement so far beyond what we know as movement we would easily be awed by it.\u00a0 There is such a living force in inanimate things.\u00a0 Keep that in mind.\u00a0 There is a truth beyond what we perceive.<\/p>\n We are looking through lenses that cause distortion.\u00a0 Consider that our physical or mental view is often way short of seeing and knowing what is.\u00a0 Keep that awareness present.\u00a0 It\u2019s humbling.\u00a0 That is one way to relate to it.\u00a0 Many have said, \u201cThe more I get to know, the more I realize I don\u2019t know.\u201d\u00a0 That could be discouraging.\u00a0 I thought I knew something and then I find out I knew almost nothing.\u00a0 Exactly.\u00a0 You might want to be a little more humble about that.\u00a0 There is a great opportunity there.\u00a0 It\u2019s called \u201cpartner up.”\u00a0 Way up.\u00a0 All the way up.<\/p>\n You might say, \u201cI haven\u2019t seen God.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know God.\u00a0 What does God look like?\u201d Fair enough.\u00a0 You can still know God and see God without trying to do it in your perceptions.\u00a0 There is a teaching to look for the good and the divine in people and things.\u00a0 Hopefully that sounds familiar to you.\u00a0 It\u2019s one of the great teachings from John-Roger.\u00a0 He called it the \u201cSecret of Soul Transcendence,\u201d which is our business. What are we doing in MSIA?\u00a0 It\u2019s Soul Transcendence.\u00a0 That says it all.\u00a0 How do we do that?\u00a0 We look for the divine in people and things.\u00a0 There is another part to it.\u00a0 All the rest leave to God.\u00a0 I\u2019m laughing because you might say, \u201cOh, you mean like all of it?\u201d\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 All the rest means everything else.<\/p>\n How do we do this?\u00a0 With a lot of willingness to cooperate and look for the good and divine.\u00a0 If we look for it, can we find it?\u00a0 If we find it, can we relate to it?\u00a0 I say, \u201cYes.\u201d\u00a0 It\u2019s a natural way of being.\u00a0 But there is also something like an unnatural way of being.\u00a0 What would that be?\u00a0 It\u2019s a simple answer, the negative.\u00a0 What\u2019s the negative?\u00a0 It\u2019s not bad, but it has a functionality and a duality.\u00a0 Like the alpha and omega, there\u2019s a positive and negative polarity.\u00a0 It\u2019s just a dynamic. \u00a0It causes a dimensionality where we start seeing something.\u00a0 We are only seeing some of it, but it\u2019s better than nothing.\u00a0 The part we can see can be full of good and divine.<\/p>\n Now we\u2019re seeing the good and divine.\u00a0 Not just looking for it, seeing it.\u00a0 We are onto something that\u2019s real.\u00a0 But what if I\u2019m only seeing a small part of the good and divine?\u00a0 You can use that.\u00a0 Something about that focus brings more good and divine into your consciousness.\u00a0 Does that translate into the world?\u00a0 Does it then manifest into the world to some degree?\u00a0 I\u2019d say that is worth it.\u00a0 If you can get it to manifest, it\u2019s going to bring into the world a greater good, a greater presence of the divine, because we are invoking that, rather than focusing and acting in accordance with the negative.\u00a0 That\u2019s discord.\u00a0 That is out of alignment and attunement.<\/p>\n When we are off, we know it.\u00a0 It\u2019s discord.\u00a0 It\u2019s not in harmony or in our vitality.\u00a0 It is dis-ease, and we feel and sense it.\u00a0 It shows up in manifestation.\u00a0 We realize, \u201cHey, we could make this more of the good and divine.\u201d\u00a0 If you deplete, exhaust, and sacrifice yourself like a martyr, you could have done greater.\u00a0 You could have replenished, restored, renewed and then had another good day.\u00a0 Consider that it is a long-distance approach.\u00a0 It\u2019s not giving everything out today and then you are done. You can take it that far, into that extreme.\u00a0 You are designed to renew, restore and replenish.\u00a0 That is how we are designed to a point.\u00a0 Then, at some point, there is nothing that can keep us here.<\/p>\n I look at that as a great big hint.\u00a0 We are not designed to stay in this world.\u00a0 Nobody.\u00a0 What\u2019s that about?\u00a0 I\u2019d say we\u2019re not really from this world.\u00a0 This is not our world.\u00a0 What are we doing here?\u00a0 It\u2019s a fair question.\u00a0 We are learning what we need to learn.\u00a0 Some of that is just pure experience.\u00a0 What happened?\u00a0 What is the meaning of it?\u00a0 The meaning is when you learn to use that.\u00a0 Then we develop.\u00a0 If we survive or work it out, we get through this day to see another day.\u00a0 That drive is in people that want to live to see another day, to see another breath. If you\u2019ve ever had that impulse to get your next breath with all your might \u2013 whatever you have to do – an experience of power comes from somewhere.\u00a0 You wonder, \u201cWhere did I get that power?\u201d<\/p>\n There are a lot of stories where something happens where on the other side of it, people understand they could have passed from this world.\u00a0 They sometimes have experiences of, \u201cI did pass from this world.\u00a0 Then I realized I could go back, do more and have a whole different attitude about it.\u00a0 I\u2019ve seen and had a glimpse of what is on the other side of this world.\u00a0 I saw I still had an opportunity to continue.\u201d\u00a0 They knew about a part of who they are and their destiny.\u00a0 When they come back, they are more on purpose for what they are here for.\u00a0 It is to take care of themselves, so they now can take care of others.\u00a0 It\u2019s a natural progression.<\/p>\n There is plenty to do to help.\u00a0 If you want to help people and make a better world, there are endless opportunities.\u00a0 Some people get caught in it, as if it is their responsibility to save the world.\u00a0 \u201cThere will not be one hungry person today,\u201d you might think.\u00a0 I don\u2019t know if that is your responsibility.\u00a0 If you understand the karma that people are going to learn from being hungry or starving, they will learn from that experience.\u00a0 You may say, \u201cWell that\u2019s too severe.\u00a0 That\u2019s not fair.\u00a0 I don\u2019t agree with that.\u201d\u00a0 Maybe one day when you find out you are not your body and neither are they, you\u2019ll understand it\u2019s something you use to have experiences from which to learn.<\/p>\n When you get in Spirit, there is no pain or suffering.\u00a0 That is not the way of Spirit.\u00a0 We get to mess up the way with all kinds of things that don\u2019t work or complicate or make big messes.\u00a0 But the way is still present.\u00a0 We are not lost.\u00a0 Let\u2019s say we are in some place we don\u2019t belong.\u00a0 There are better places.\u00a0 This is not the way.\u00a0 You\u2019ve had enough of that, so get on the way.\u00a0 How would you do that?\u00a0 Love yourself.\u00a0 Love others.\u00a0 Pretty simple.\u00a0 Then love the creation itself.\u00a0 How would you love that?\u00a0 For some it\u2019s as if that is not possible.\u00a0 \u201cYou\u2019re supposed to hate that thing.\u00a0 Everybody hates that.\u201d\u00a0 That is not true when we meet up with this consciousness of God.\u00a0 It reveals itself and It\u2019s not invisible or silent.\u00a0 It is going to say, \u201cI love everything, including you, and always have.\u201d\u00a0 If you are open to seeing it, you\u2019ll see it.\u00a0 You\u2019ll see that it\u2019s not in the words, it is in the truth of it.<\/p>\n You come from where it is God\u2019s domain, and you are a full inheritor.\u00a0 Once you are on to that, it becomes a natural seeking to fulfill what you came here to do.\u00a0 That is so you can gain access to what truly fulfills who you are to be. One in the creation and integrated with it.\u00a0 How do we do that while we are in this world?\u00a0 It\u2019s very simple.\u00a0 Love our creator and all creation and then understand we are the curator of love, light and blessings.<\/p>\n Baruch Bashan<\/p>\n Thank you, Lord,<\/p>\n for preparing the way for all of us one more time,<\/p>\n and that You bring us in.<\/p>\n And You also allow us to bear witness<\/p>\n to what You are doing in our midst,<\/p>\n so we can actually see You doing the work,<\/p>\n preparing the way and also clearly calling us forward<\/p>\n so we are those actively doing the work,<\/p>\n doing it in ways that we know are completely attuned<\/p>\n and alive in Your presence.<\/p>\n We give the praise all the way to the source we know as God.<\/p>\n And we also recognize and acknowledge our choosing back,<\/p>\n our commitment, our dedication,<\/p>\n that we become one with You in this work,<\/p>\n that it is the love of God<\/p>\n and the love of God that\u2019s shared with all the creation.<\/p>\n We see this in a very beautiful way.<\/p>\n Thank you.<\/p>\n Baruch Bashan<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
