I want to be at ease with how it is
\nI want faith in my ability to love it all
\nto embrace, to support and to champion my sons,
\nmy family, friends, community, country, planet.
\nAnd self.<\/p>\nI want to radiate compassion and beauty,
\ncalm and gentle strength.
\nI want to dance with abandon
\nand laugh whole heartedly.
\nI want to be free of self demanding
\nand demands of others
\n(spoken and unspoken)
\nI want to truly be the peace<\/p>\nAnd to not fear, At All.<\/p>\n
And, how can I serve?

\nto take no more than I need for body, mind and Love
\nand to share what I can where it can do good.
\nTo be informed
\nand find a way to engage peacefully and effectively
\nin the ensuring and enhancing of democracy.<\/p>\nWhat I give, I give
\nand the miracle is
\nthat it\u2019s enough<\/p>\nI am as I am
\nand so are my sons as they are
\nand so are all who I know
\nand not know
\nas they are<\/p>\nWe give what we give
\nand miraculously
\nthat is enough.<\/p>\nWe carry our sorrows and our joys
\neach (seemingly) separately
\nand all shouldering it together,
\nknowing or not knowing.<\/p>\nOn this earth is our pilgrimage.
\nThis life, my life,
\nYour life, all lives
\nis enough,
\nA marvel
\nof courage
\nand un-imaginable vulnerability.<\/p>\nWho I already am
\nbut not yet know
\nis my soul speaking out loud
\nof all that moves my heart,
\nthe vastness of breath<\/p>\nAnd what my pen can express
\nof hope and of despair
\nof resistance and of surrender
\nof pride and humility
\nof victory and defeat.
\nOf life wholly felt
\nin all its horror
\nand glory.<\/p>\nAnd Grace.<\/p>\n
