{"id":111185,"date":"2022-09-13T17:52:36","date_gmt":"2022-09-14T00:52:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/?p=111185"},"modified":"2022-09-14T11:08:09","modified_gmt":"2022-09-14T18:08:09","slug":"its-time-to-have-a-lot-more-fun","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/archives\/111185-its-time-to-have-a-lot-more-fun","title":{"rendered":"It\u2019s Time to Have a Lot More Fun!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>It&#8217;s high time to have a lot more fun in your life.\u00a0 That goes for all of us.\u00a0 This world needs more joy, fun, levity, peace and understanding.\u00a0 <\/em> &#8211; John Morton.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This article is taken from a sharing John had with a participant in a Living in Grace retreat at Asilomar Conference Center in Pacific Grove, CA in December 2014.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the things we need to do is get in a position so we are big enough to receive what the blessing is.\u00a0 If you are closed down or closed off, and you are requesting a blessing that basically requires all of you, it can\u2019t be done.\u00a0 In order to receive the blessing, you need to be completely open to it.<\/p>\n<p>God is unconditional.\u00a0 That is who God is.\u00a0 If you are going to be one with God, doing it in the way God would do it unto you, then do it unto God in that way.\u00a0 If it\u2019s unconditional, then you become unconditional.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m not saying this is easy.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure you have heard that information before.\u00a0 It can take all you\u2019ve got to let go, trust, be open and accepting.\u00a0 But the alternative is what you have been in, what we might call the karma.<\/p>\n<p>Consider the way you process and relate to the blessing, so you have that experience.\u00a0 Come into the way that would bless it as it comes from God, in the fullness of what God is doing.\u00a0 It takes things to a completion, a fullness, into \u201cnow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There is a next step.\u00a0 There\u2019s something that comes forward, such that once you have done\u00a0<strong><em>this<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0step, you can do the next step.\u00a0 Karma is like that.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t work it in this lifetime, there will be another.\u00a0 If you don\u2019t work it in that lifetime, there will be another.\u00a0 The better approach is to look at what would bless it and complete it.<\/p>\n<p>What is the first law of spirit?\u00a0 Acceptance.\u00a0 The second law of spirit?\u00a0 Cooperation.\u00a0 Coming into cooperation may not be on your terms.\u00a0 It may be on terms that are bigger than what you are using as a frame of reference.\u00a0 Is it working for you?\u00a0 That\u2019s the key.\u00a0 If it\u2019s not working for you, let go of that approach so you can come into an approach that works for you.\u00a0 My term for that would be an approach that blesses you.<\/p>\n<p>How can you come into alignment with what is?\u00a0 If you are tired and sick \u2013 or something like that \u2013 and realize you don\u2019t want to continue being tired and sick, you might ask, \u201cHow do I join up with what this is?\u00a0 How do I move into accepting it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A victim story is the other side of the coin from accountability and responsibility.\u00a0 It\u2019s the side where you are not really being who you are that\u00a0<strong><em>is<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0responsible and accountable.\u00a0 In MSIA, we often call that, \u201cCheck it out.\u201d\u00a0 Look for where your freedoms are.\u00a0 Can you walk away, start over, or start what you might call a new life?\u00a0 Are you okay?\u00a0 Can you still breathe?\u00a0 Those are things to be grateful for.<\/p>\n<p>When you are dealing with the Eternal Father, it\u2019s not temporary.\u00a0 When you deal with the negative power, it is temporary.\u00a0 That gives you an idea, in the energy, where it\u2019s coming from.\u00a0 Get things that are complete, meaning lasting.\u00a0 If something comes forward &#8211; because in this world it always does &#8211; and it\u2019s alive and dynamic, then it would be what is next for you.\u00a0 That\u2019s a progression that is going forward and up.\u00a0 It&#8217;s getting better and you are getting better.<\/p>\n<p>Is there anything stopping you from having what you want in your life?\u00a0 How it appears to me is there is nothing stopping you from getting what you want.\u00a0 If what you want is an illusion, then you will find that out.\u00a0 If it\u2019s not really in your favor and serving you, then something better or equal will come to you.\u00a0 I look at that as fair and good.<\/p>\n<p>If God doesn\u2019t give you what you imagined or fantasized, something of equal or greater value will come to you.\u00a0 If God is going to give you something that is as valuable or more valuable, then you can go with that.\u00a0 That is easy to participate with.\u00a0 There is a changing in the nature of your spiritual self because all things are possible.\u00a0 If you get into that consciousness, then you can create anew.<\/p>\n<p>Get ready to not be in this world one day, because this is a place where there is limitation.\u00a0 You are not long for this world.\u00a0 That\u2019s okay because that is the reality of who you are anyway.\u00a0 When we find out who we are, it\u2019s less than a blink of the eye here, and it serves a purpose.\u00a0 It allows us to go through the experiences we need in the way we need to do that.<\/p>\n<p>There is a dimensionality here that slows it down.\u00a0 That\u2019s one way to relate to it so we can handle it.\u00a0 As we learn how to handle it, it picks up its rate again.\u00a0 It speeds up.\u00a0 Then it increases in what it is, and we come into a creative consciousness.\u00a0 It is of a spiritual nature.\u00a0 We can begin to experience that while we are here in this world.\u00a0 Your life could be heavenly while you are in the world. That\u2019s an inner relationship that doesn\u2019t depend on things in the world.\u00a0 Then, with the things in the world, you could have a great time.<\/p>\n<p>Put out your intention for the highest good.\u00a0 You can request it.\u00a0 There are things that all of us are working or moving towards that are set up in a way that is for us, not against us.\u00a0 A lot of that is there is a reason in our favor that we are unconscious of.\u00a0 Because if we were conscious of it, we would tend to mess it up.\u00a0 In a way, it is done for us in spite of ourselves.\u00a0 It is done for you.<\/p>\n<p>Whatever time you have left in this world, consider that it is in your favor, however that works out.\u00a0 Your part is to take care of yourself.\u00a0 It\u2019s as simple as that.\u00a0 Invoke God as your partner so that you are receiving what you need and what helps you be healthy and have a fulfilling life.<\/p>\n<p>My view is the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness is the most valuable place on the planet.\u00a0 You are in the midst of it.\u00a0\u00a0 You are working things out.\u00a0 Take time in your daily cycle to be grateful, to appreciate, to do the best you can and make it better than you found it.\u00a0 These things work.\u00a0 They work every day.<\/p>\n<p>If you are not attending to that \u2013 and instead are complaining, finding fault, criticizing, judging \u2013 I don\u2019t know why you would want to spend time doing that to yourself.\u00a0 There are far better choices.\u00a0 The MSIA teachings have been telling you this all along.<\/p>\n<p>I suggest you start being more grateful.\u00a0 You have a lot more gratitude to come out and express.\u00a0 Be more enthusiastic with your gratitude.\u00a0 Enthusiasm is God\u00a0energy.\u00a0 It\u2019s a sign that we are tapping our source so it starts coming out.\u00a0 You don\u2019t have to be loud or demonstrative.\u00a0 Your gratitude and enthusiasm can be something that radiates in the beautiful light and presence of your being.\u00a0 It can be in the silence, but it\u2019s a joyful, beautiful silence.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s high time to have a lot more fun in your life.\u00a0 That goes for all of us.\u00a0 This world needs more joy, fun, levity, peace and understanding.\u00a0 We can be about putting it in the world.\u00a0 There is no need for the dreary or miserable.\u00a0 There\u2019s already far too much of it in the world.\u00a0 Share your happiness, fun and joy.\u00a0 Share the blessings of who you truly are.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Prayer from You Are the Blessings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Lord God, once again we give thanks for the opportunity to be with You.<br \/>\nWe ask that You bring us forward from whatever we have chosen<br \/>\nthat would keep us lagging or restricted from knowing You.<\/p>\n<p>Lift us from our pretenses and falsehoods that<br \/>\nwe have placed before ourselves as judgments and false knowledge.<br \/>\nWe ask that You take away the illusion<br \/>\nand that You may assist us,<br \/>\nregardless of what we have done.<\/p>\n<p>We come to You in grace, to the door of forgiveness.<br \/>\nRestore our joy and courage, that we can go through each day<br \/>\nand whatever meets us,<br \/>\nknowing the blessings of each moment and being glad<br \/>\nin what we behold as eternal truth.<\/p>\n<p>We bring our enthusiasm to do the best we can.<br \/>\nWe trust that You are always with us and that You have prepared the way.<\/p>\n<p>There is nothing against us that will ever last.<br \/>\nWhatever negativity we find shall not prevail.<br \/>\nWe are resurrected in the Christ.<br \/>\nThe Holy Spirit is our companion.<\/p>\n<p>You bring the Lord\u2019s hand to touch us, strength to lift us,<br \/>\nvision to look upon Your face, Light to let us see the truth,<br \/>\nand wisdom to know that Your will is done.<br \/>\nAnd we find everlasting peace in Your loving embrace.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Note: The above blessing can be found in John Morton\u2019s book, You Are The Blessings, pgs. 253-254.
