{"id":111380,"date":"2023-03-07T14:35:49","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T22:35:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/?p=111380"},"modified":"2023-03-08T15:31:47","modified_gmt":"2023-03-08T23:31:47","slug":"loving-and-blessing-our-karma","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/archives\/111380-loving-and-blessing-our-karma","title":{"rendered":"Loving and Blessing Our Karma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Karma is an action that is called for.\u00a0 Our opportunity is to be in harmony and synchronicity with the karmic action that serves, works, and blesses all.\u00a0 Let\u2019s call that, \u201cThe highest good of all concerned.\u201d<\/em> &#8211; John Morton<\/p>\n<p><strong>This article is taken from a seminar John Morton conducted in October 2022 for MSIA students who subscribe to Discourses.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One way of handling karma is to relax.\u00a0 Be at ease.\u00a0 Being receptive is a way of knowing how you are handling karma.<\/p>\n<p>Karma is an action that is called for.\u00a0 Our opportunity is to be in harmony and synchronicity with the karmic action that serves, works, and blesses all.\u00a0 Let\u2019s call that, \u201cThe highest good of all concerned.\u201d\u00a0 Those may be familiar words.\u00a0 They are keys that work, so call them out with that intention.<\/p>\n<p>The highest good intention is\u00a0a blessing that however we are handling karma, there is always receptivity.\u00a0 That\u2019s where the acceptance is that is spiritual.\u00a0 It\u2019s always in receptivity.\u00a0 By that I mean an openness.\u00a0 It\u2019s not necessarily in something you would call agreement, understanding or \u201cThis is what I\u2019m doing or not doing.\u201d\u00a0 It allows for those positions in consciousness.\u00a0 Those positions can be varying degrees of how we think and feel, or the images we hold or resist.\u00a0 Then we come into the physical actions we take.\u00a0 These are called our choices.<\/p>\n<p>If we are resisting, energies are being contained in unnecessary forms that cause friction, disruption, disturbance, and disease.\u00a0 We then don\u2019t feel well or do well.\u00a0 We are in dysfunctionality or something like chaos.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t work.<\/p>\n<p>The signs of not working are fairly obvious.\u00a0 Things don\u2019t go as we would like.\u00a0 That is one way that it\u2019s obvious.\u00a0 They go the way we don\u2019t like.\u00a0 It\u2019s either side of that coin.\u00a0 \u201cI don\u2019t like it,\u201d or \u201cIt\u2019s not what I wanted or expected,\u201d are signs.\u00a0 How you respond to that is also a sign.<\/p>\n<p>If you can, come into receptivity and an openness to observe and consider if it\u2019s not working, causing disturbance, disruption or not functioning well.\u00a0 It is not getting the results you are seeking, expecting, or wanted.\u00a0 That can be checked by what you are doing.\u00a0 Another way to say that is have the wit to let it go.\u00a0 Stop doing it.<\/p>\n<p>What if you are crossing the street and cars are honking at you and people are pulling down their windows to yell and scream at you in insulting ways?\u00a0 Maybe you are crossing against traffic while there is a crosswalk.\u00a0 Perhaps there is a crosswalk, but there is also a light that\u2019s green for the traffic.\u00a0 It\u2019s the cars\u2019 time to go.\u00a0 It can be like this, very obvious and simple in what we are doing and then in how we respond to it.<\/p>\n<p>Let\u2019s make it practical and particular with what is going on personally in your life.\u00a0 That could be financially, in your relationships or in what you do to make your living.\u00a0 Are you self-employed or working for someone?\u00a0 Do they like the way you do your job or work?\u00a0 How would you know that?<\/p>\n<p>There is something in the results that would show a job well done.\u00a0 I\u2019m going to call it satisfaction or the action that satisfies, as in, \u201cI\u2019m satisfied. It\u2019s good enough for me.\u201d\u00a0 What if the boss is saying, \u201cIt\u2019s not good enough for me and you need to do what needs to be done or else?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested, find out what \u201cdone\u201d or \u201cor else\u201d is.\u00a0 That can be another sign of how you are handling the karma or creating some new karma.\u00a0 Maybe that is called, \u201cYou\u2019re fired\u201d or \u201cI\u2019m leaving you\u201d or \u201cYou are under arrest\u201d or \u201cHere\u2019s your eviction notice.\u201d\u00a0 There are lots of ways it comes forward.<\/p>\n<p>This doesn\u2019t necessarily mean there is a problem in Spirit.\u00a0 There is an aspect of what I am describing in how things work in the world and in the Spirit that doesn\u2019t really matter.\u00a0 It doesn\u2019t go that high.\u00a0 By the time it\u2019s in Spirit, it\u2019s in something like a state of bliss, meaning it doesn\u2019t shift to what\u00a0it\u00a0is in the world.\u00a0 What may shift is your relationship to being in Spirit.<\/p>\n<p>How you are in your humanity and the physical world may reveal that you are not having much experience of bliss.\u00a0 Having awareness of what you\u00a0<strong><em>are<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0experiencing can help you.\u00a0 Just being aware.\u00a0 Are you experiencing something like dread?\u00a0 Is it something like, \u201cI hate this.\u00a0 I\u2019m confused and tired.\u00a0 I don\u2019t want to do this anymore.\u00a0 I\u2019m discouraged, disenchanted, and disillusioned?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If it is in the field of desolation, \u201cI have no motivation or interest to even try to make it better,\u201d then that is something to look at for the judgement you have placed.\u00a0 Part of that is to determine through your awareness, contemplation, openness to learn and look, asking, \u201cWell, how did I create this desolation?\u201d\u00a0 Did I put myself in a position of wanting, expecting, wishful thinking or desire? It can go to varying degrees of extremity.<\/p>\n<p>It can also get so there is tension in the body, a sense of inflexibility, which can then also get into things like the joints.\u00a0 That can get into the PH, so you become over-acidic, contributing to oxidation, which tends to dissolve what is in some material form, putting it into an altered state.\u00a0 If you have a sense of being over-reactive, irritable, worried, or fearful, these kinds of things are indicators that you are not in harmony with how your life is designed to work.<\/p>\n<p>Give yourself an opportunity to do better.\u00a0\u00a0Take time to consider,<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs this working?\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 Maybe give your mind a chance to release, so you get out before you argue with whatever your mind is saying.\u00a0 Perhaps you still have some self-talk that then becomes an argument with yourself.\u00a0 It\u2019s like there is more than one player in your mind and they argue rather than agree.<\/p>\n<p>That can be the kind of self-talk that labels you with unflattering names or terms.\u00a0 That is going into a state that is disturbed at every level, except with the Spirit.\u00a0 That\u2019s another way of saying it\u2019s not ever bothering your soul.\u00a0 What is it bothering?\u00a0 It is bothering the places you are residing where you bring your conscious level.\u00a0 That can be habitual so that you start harboring thoughts that are not agreeable or admirable.\u00a0 They are often critical, like, \u201cI hate this and I hate myself.\u00a0 But I hate them more because they make it so bad and awful in what we are doing together.\u00a0 It\u2019s their fault.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Often before we even get to something like articulating how bad it can be, there is something like yelling, screaming, crying, and sobbing.\u00a0 Maybe there are things that could be called self-destructive behaviors that demonstrate we aren\u2019t loving and caring.\u00a0 We are not doing things that are uplifting, nurturing, healing, and bringing in vitality, happiness, peace, joy as well as good relationships with people and things.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, we haven\u2019t even talked in particular about planetary karma.\u00a0 Things like pandemics, wars, and famines.\u00a0 \u201cMy stock went up or down tenfold. The dog next door is barking, and nobody seems to want to shut it up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Those are just ways of saying we are not here to control this world.\u00a0 But we can influence it.\u00a0 We can influence in such a way that how we are participating is something beautiful.\u00a0 It is something pleasant inside.\u00a0 We can run the level of our attitude and how we respond.\u00a0 A smile can still come on our face regardless of external conditions.\u00a0 That would be a way of relating to what is present when our inner focus is beautiful.\u00a0 Perhaps it is something that becomes an opportunity to extend to others.<\/p>\n<p>Your willingness to be in touch with the divine nature is helpful.\u00a0 It is certainly helpful for you.\u00a0 It is not selfish in any way that is like withholding.\u00a0 Don\u2019t keep your gifts hidden or your goodness withheld.\u00a0 I know it can be hard if you \u201cwear your heart on your sleeve.\u201d\u00a0 People might slam it.\u00a0 If you\u2019ve had the experience where you are open to others with kindness, wanting to help and the responses are anything but kind, appreciative or understanding, that could hurt.<\/p>\n<p>Part of this is to test us where we worship.\u00a0 What level are we worshiping?\u00a0 If we are placing our worship in this world, it\u2019s \u201cGood luck!\u201d\u00a0 The world plays in the extremes.\u00a0 It can be extremely high, such as awareness of direct connection as we go into Spirit.\u00a0 We can be in awareness of the divine.\u00a0 While our feet are on the ground, our consciousness is in Spirit.\u00a0 That is a presence inside.\u00a0 We can also have our eyes and ears open.<\/p>\n<p>We relate through the senses into the world and through the consciousness that we call the mind, the personality.\u00a0 We can relate into the world and still be in attunement with the divine nature while we are doing it.\u00a0 That is somewhat of a balancing act along the lines of, \u201cHow are you walking across a tightrope while there\u2019s an earthquake and they are throwing things at you?\u201d\u00a0 You can still be in balance on the tightrope, even if the elasticity of the tightrope is going up and down.\u00a0 There is a way.<\/p>\n<p>Connect with the perfect master.\u00a0 Is that one the same as the inner master?\u00a0 In this case, it is.\u00a0 Who would that be?\u00a0 I say it is God consciousness as it knows you in your breath and inner nature.\u00a0 As we open inwardly, it is something like a martial art.\u00a0 We learn how to take the attack and the energy that comes at us.\u00a0 We can learn to handle whatever it is because we keep our openness as an eye on the Lord.<\/p>\n<p>We have that awareness of the presence of the Lord, this inner connection with one who is always with us in the very best way. No matter what happens to us, there is still a divine relationship with the perfect master.\u00a0 God is extending to us inside.<\/p>\n<p>Can you see a face on that?\u00a0 You could.\u00a0 Can you know it by touch or voice?\u00a0 Yes.\u00a0 You can open up the other inner senses.\u00a0 There is a scent and a taste.\u00a0 Because it comes in the highest nature, it registers on a scale that is magnificent.\u00a0 It\u2019s beyond words or any way of expressing other than something like ecstasy and bliss.\u00a0 Then there is the laughter of going where the joy would take you.<\/p>\n<p>We also learn how to do extrapolation, extending what we know conceptually into imaging.\u00a0 What something is in higher nature and consciousness, we extend into the lower nature.\u00a0 There is connection.\u00a0 With connection comes integration.\u00a0 One in the same.\u00a0 The lower is this, the higher is this &#8211; and it is still connected.<\/p>\n<p>That awareness and intention to reach, extend, be open is also to check and test what the Spirit is so you are taking hold of the highest consciousness that is available to you.\u00a0 You can handle it.\u00a0 It does not inflict.\u00a0 It would be choosing to be open to the inner master as the perfect master.\u00a0 Is that the Traveler?\u00a0 You decide.<\/p>\n<p>There is a movement as this works, so you become what it is.\u00a0 There is one movement where you reach to what it is.\u00a0 You witness what it is, and you are aware of it.\u00a0 It is awakening you.\u00a0 There is still observation.\u00a0 You are looking and listening to what it is. At some point, you allow and become what it is.\u00a0 It will be the perfect master being in mastery as you.<\/p>\n<p>The Traveler or the Christ works with your karma by taking it on as if its nature is also with the karma.\u00a0 Why would it do that if it is not required?\u00a0 If the inner master does not have karma, why would it take it on?\u00a0 Because it can release it.\u00a0 If it\u2019s released in the inner master, the one that is with that presence, it is released in you.<\/p>\n<p>What does the karma become here in the human form?\u00a0 It\u2019s personal and it is individualized as you with your name, personality, and lifetime.\u00a0 The inner master is doing your life as you.\u00a0 There is no conflict there.<\/p>\n<p>How does it do that?\u00a0 Very well.\u00a0 It can still look like you or look like them.\u00a0 It could be doing both at once.\u00a0 It has that ability.\u00a0 You would recognize it as you move into the higher consciousness while releasing the lower nature.\u00a0 You don\u2019t look like what you do in the lower nature.\u00a0 You don\u2019t look like yourself in the world because you are releasing that form.\u00a0 It has been under a karmic influence.\u00a0 That has specifics.\u00a0 It\u2019s something like DNA that is unique to you.\u00a0 It is going through the world as a perfect master.\u00a0 That is how it works.\u00a0 That consciousness is with you in synchronicity.<\/p>\n<p>How would you handle something like gas prices going up, inflation, pollution, etc.?\u00a0 All kinds of things.\u00a0 More noise.\u00a0 There are more complications just getting something done with the harmony of what that is.\u00a0 That\u2019s not really an issue in Spirit.\u00a0 Do the best you can with what it is, what you are working with and what you know.\u00a0 Love no matter what it is.\u00a0 How would love express itself in this situation, with these people and all the circumstances involved?\u00a0 That is worth considering.<\/p>\n<p>What is the divine nature?\u00a0 The God consciousness as it relates through each person becomes something quite beautiful.\u00a0 It is very practical, bringing greater blessings to the world in all ways.\u00a0 Spirit has to do that.\u00a0 If we tried to measure those ways as a quantity or how much can be done in an hour, there is no limitation other that what we put there.\u00a0 Let go of the limitations.\u00a0 Whatever comes forward is being done in this consciousness that is the highest good of all concerned.\u00a0 This consciousness knows all, loves all, and has the intelligence and power to do it in perfect ways and perfect timing.<\/p>\n<p>Right now, the karma is doing as much as is allowed in each one of us and all of us together.\u00a0 So, it is each one of us.\u00a0 It is not necessarily placing limitation on what you can do because of what someone else is doing or not doing.\u00a0 Do yours.\u00a0 Do it so it rings and sings a vibration that is holy, beautiful, and blessed.<\/p>\n<p>One of the ways working our karma becomes practical is that we call it\u00a0forward every\u00a0day.\u00a0 Regardless of what it is this day and how you respond to it, one of the miracles is there is going to be another day.\u00a0 There is going to be another round.\u00a0 Regardless of how bad it seems, consider there is another round and then a next round.\u00a0 Whatever that is and whenever that is coming, all is\u00a0workable to the\u00a0positive.\u00a0 If it was up to you, what would it be?\u00a0 You can call that out inside of yourself that God would hear it, know that you are voting, you are registered and that your intention is placed in God\u2019s intention.<\/p>\n<p>That becomes very individualized in the moment.\u00a0 There may be a pause there.\u00a0 Ask for patience.\u00a0 What you are praying for and seeking comes with the light of day.\u00a0 \u00a0You bless this day; you love this day with peace\u00a0is\u00a0your way of relating to this day.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for your cooperation.\u00a0 Thank you for showing up in your way and doing things like being a good sport and having a smile rather than criticism.\u00a0 Let us all be that, so we are known that we do love one another.\u00a0 We don\u2019t have to explain it.\u00a0 We just love.<\/p>\n<p>God bless you all.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h4>Blessing of Allowing God\u2019s Light<\/h4>\n<p>Father, Mother, God,<br \/>\nwe ask for Your light to be extended<br \/>\nand that You renew us and bring forward new life.<br \/>\nIn this moment we consciously, willingly remove any restrictions.<br \/>\nWe give You permission to come into our life.
