{"id":112828,"date":"2026-05-20T16:03:35","date_gmt":"2026-05-20T23:03:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/?p=112828"},"modified":"2026-05-20T16:03:35","modified_gmt":"2026-05-20T23:03:35","slug":"moving-from-disturbance-to-communion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/archives\/112828-moving-from-disturbance-to-communion","title":{"rendered":"Moving from Disturbance to Communion"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>&#8220;This world is amazing in giving us ongoing opportunities to learn how to raise our consciousness and receive the benefits and blessings when we do that.\u00a0 It is really good, and it\u2019s regardless of external circumstances.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; John Morton<\/p>\n<p><strong>This article is taken from a sharing session with John Morton in April 2026 with the PTS Master of Spiritual Science class \u201cThe Harmonic Self.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the laws of spirit, the first law has been referenced as acceptance.\u00a0 There is something there for us.\u00a0 It is an entry.\u00a0 If we are going to play at the spiritual level of who we are, then check the acceptance.\u00a0 What is that?<\/p>\n<p>I recall when I first had that brought to my attention, through John-Roger, I hadn\u2019t heard of something like this.\u00a0 My first response was, \u201cAcceptance?\u00a0 That\u2019s so like, blah.\u201d\u00a0 Am I here?\u00a0\u00a0 Of course I\u2019m here.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve often been humbled by acceptance.\u00a0 It is something that is of a mastership level.\u00a0 When we are mastering who we are spiritually, we\u2019re mastering acceptance.\u00a0 I look for a tool or a focus for a direct way to be in acceptance.<\/p>\n<p>One way that works magnificently, every time, all the time, is conscious breathing.\u00a0 I just did it by calling it out.\u00a0 My awareness comes where air comes into the lungs in the body.\u00a0 Something was releasing by consciously focusing on the breathing.\u00a0 I call that relaxing, coming into ease.<\/p>\n<p>Accepting is that presence.\u00a0 It has ease in it.\u00a0 Regardless of whether we agree or hate each other \u2013 even if that consciousness is present and active \u2013 we could still be aware, \u201cI am at ease with who you are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That is my choice.\u00a0 If I don\u2019t do that, I\u2019m caught.\u00a0 I am somehow bound to what you are doing that I do not like.\u00a0 Then, I start becoming what I don\u2019t like, because I\u2019m resisting it.\u00a0 There is another key word \u2013 resisting.\u00a0 If you are resisting, that is not the spirit.<\/p>\n<p>What is resistance?\u00a0 It has a push or a pull.\u00a0 It\u2019s magnetic.\u00a0 Who amongst us could say, \u201cOh, I\u2019m always neutral.\u00a0 I don\u2019t get charged up magnetically.\u00a0 I just observe it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>To me, that is a challenge, to be aware of the neutrality.\u00a0 That\u2019s another word for acceptance, to have awareness of the neutrality of it.\u00a0 That is observation, which brings up a great seminar from John-Roger, \u201cObservation: The Key to Letting Go.\u201d\u00a0 If you are having difficulty being in acceptance, cooperation, having a good time or being at peace, go listen or watch that seminar.<\/p>\n<p>Observation is also altitude of consciousness.\u00a0 I can say and memorize all these teachings.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got the awareness to speak and repeat them.\u00a0 But the opportunity is, \u201cAre you <strong><em>doing<\/em><\/strong> observation?\u201d\u00a0 Are you doing altitude in your consciousness, allowing yourself to experience neutrality?\u00a0 If you are in observation and neutrality, you are not caught in what somebody is doing that you do not like.<\/p>\n<p>I know what it is to not like something extremely.\u00a0 I think we all know what that is.\u00a0 That\u2019s okay, because that is also awareness.\u00a0 It is asking, \u201cWhat is it that I am caught in?\u201d\u00a0 There may be a really good reason to be caught in it.\u00a0 Like, \u201cI don\u2019t like pain. I don\u2019t like suffering. How can I have less of that and steer clear of it?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Pain is a messenger.\u00a0 That is how I relate to pain.\u00a0 What is pain telling me?\u00a0 There is a disturbance in the force.\u00a0 Pain can be the symptom.<\/p>\n<p>The symptom may be that there is a fire.\u00a0 What is causing the fire?\u00a0 What do we do about the fire?\u00a0 Maybe, the only option is to extinguish it.\u00a0 Maybe an option is to prepare that it\u2019s going to have its way and remove what doesn\u2019t need to be in the fire.<\/p>\n<p>This world is amazing in giving us ongoing opportunities to learn how to raise our consciousness and receive the benefits and blessings when we do that.\u00a0 It is really good, and it\u2019s regardless of external circumstances.\u00a0 We can play in the paradise, because that\u2019s how we relate to what is going on.<\/p>\n<p>What is the paradisiacal view?\u00a0 I get out of or disassociate from this.\u00a0 That would be the paradise.\u00a0 If you get involved in something like disagreement or \u201cI don\u2019t like this,\u201d that can be what is running in your consciousness.\u00a0 Then you are upset.<\/p>\n<p>I don\u2019t want upset to interfere with our being together.\u00a0 Being with each other is something beautiful and sacred, or even funny.\u00a0 I wouldn\u2019t want my upset to not allow me to enjoy you.\u00a0 I would be missing out because you are right here.\u00a0 I would much rather be in this opportunity with you, than upset with something from the past.<\/p>\n<p>If something lingers, it\u2019s like a thorn in your arm.\u00a0 What would get the thorn out of your arm?\u00a0 Maybe it\u2019s to take it out.\u00a0 Perhaps communication can be a way to address the disturbance.\u00a0 Then, we are meeting and relating in something.<\/p>\n<p>One of God\u2019s great creations is relationship.\u00a0 We are all in relationship, some more powerfully than others.\u00a0 In that relationship, we have a responsibility to be in the union of our consciousness.\u00a0 We can do that together and share the union through our co-communication.\u00a0 That is called communion.\u00a0 It is called \u201ccommunion-cation\u201d.\u00a0 It is the action of how we are together, through the miracles of language and communication.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5>A Blessing of Acceptance, Openness, and Anything Else<br \/>\nFrom Blessings Here and Now<\/h5>\n<p>Dear Lord, we\u2019re gathered here in this presence<br \/>\nthat is also gathered with us in the light,<br \/>\nand whatever is here in each one\u2019s heart,<br \/>\nin any form of a need, a request.<br \/>\nWhatever it is that anybody is calling for,<br \/>\nwhatever would serve healing, balancing, clearing,<br \/>\nlearning and growing.<\/p>\n<p>And I hear J-R saying, \u201cAnything else?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And whatever anything else is, that it\u2019s all answered,<br \/>\nit\u2019s all brought forward into blessing.<br \/>\nSo we can let go.<br \/>\nWe can claim it, in the completion of it.<br \/>\nIt is done spiritually.<br \/>\nAnd the most important quality is that we have acceptance.<br \/>\nWe have openness and willingness to participate.<br \/>\nSo we shift into that.<br \/>\nSo there is perfect acceptance, perfect openness<br \/>\nand willingness to participate.<br \/>\nThat whatever we don\u2019t know how to do of own accord, our own ability,<br \/>\nwhatever is unconscious, is a restriction or block, we give it up.<br \/>\nWe invite the light, the love, this Holy Presence that is with us,<br \/>\nto bathe us, to surround us, to fill us up so we are overflowing.<br \/>\nThat we can find our alignment, we can find our direction.<br \/>\nThat from this point on,<br \/>\nwe consciously know the way is prepared all the way.<br \/>\nIt is done.<br \/>\nWe give thanks.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Note:\u00a0 John-Roger\u2019s seminar \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/app\/twi\/watch?v=5YZDe9taVDre&amp;search=observation\">Observation: The Key to Letting Go<\/a>\u201d, mentioned in the above article, is available to view on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/app\/twi\">That Which Is<\/a> (which can be accessed through the MSIA website at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msia.org\">msia.org<\/a>).\u00a0 It is product #1552 and is also available to purchase at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/shop\/product\/observation-the-key-to-letting-go\/\">msia.org\/shop<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&#8220;This world is amazing in giving us ongoing opportunities to learn how to raise our consciousness and receive the benefits and blessings when we do that.\u00a0 It is really good, and it\u2019s regardless of external circumstances.&#8221;
