{"id":112866,"date":"2026-06-16T18:29:16","date_gmt":"2026-06-17T01:29:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/?p=112866"},"modified":"2026-06-16T18:29:16","modified_gmt":"2026-06-17T01:29:16","slug":"let-go-and-let-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.msia.org\/newdayherald\/archives\/112866-let-go-and-let-love","title":{"rendered":"Let Go and Let Love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>&#8220;If you are around people that beautifully show you how to love yourself, that\u2019s smart.\u00a0\u00a0Maybe it\u2019s chanting your tone.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s calling in the Light.\u00a0\u00a0Sometimes it\u2019s called\u00a0Satsang.\u00a0\u00a0It\u2019s fellowship, brotherhood and sisterhood.&#8221;<\/em> &#8211; John Morton<\/p>\n<p><strong>This month\u2019s article is taken from a sharing session John had online with participants in a \u201cChoosing into the Divine Presence\u201d workshop held in\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Sydney, Australia in March 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In terms of the love of the self that has the primary authority,\u00a0loving is going to prevail.\u00a0\u00a0The loving of who you are is going to prevail and it\u2019s already prevailing.\u00a0\u00a0When we understand that, we would go toward it.\u00a0\u00a0We would ask for it.<\/p>\n<p>If you are doing your best as you know in the loving of you, there may still be a feeling like, \u201cI don\u2019t like myself.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0That can get more extreme\u00a0so\u00a0some might even call that, \u201cI hate myself.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>One of the practical things we can do is relax.\u00a0\u00a0Do you know how to relax?\u00a0\u00a0That is important and it\u2019s in the teachings.\u00a0\u00a0One of the more powerful teachings is something John-Roger, amidst many, has said. Let go and let God.<\/p>\n<p>What does that really mean?\u00a0\u00a0We could possibly not really understand or have much awareness of what that means.\u00a0\u00a0But it\u2019s there, and John-Roger gave it direction.<\/p>\n<p>The first part, \u201cLet go\u201d, is relax.\u00a0\u00a0Relax the mind.\u00a0\u00a0One key that John-Roger called out: \u201cObservation is the key to letting go.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Observation is beyond the mind, but the mind can participate in observation.\u00a0\u00a0If you allow the mind into observation, it could do what a mind can do in observation.<\/p>\n<p>In observation, the mind gets altitude.\u00a0\u00a0It gets perspective that is higher.\u00a0\u00a0With more altitude, we see more.\u00a0\u00a0We have a brilliant consciousness in the mind that can observe with clarity, completeness and knowing.<\/p>\n<p>Observation wouldn\u2019t be afraid of altitude or heights.\u00a0\u00a0Someone saying, \u201cI\u2019m scared of heights,\u201d might think, \u201cI don\u2019t know if I want to go into higher consciousness because I might get scared.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Who you truly are is not afraid of altitude.\u00a0\u00a0That would be a hint.\u00a0\u00a0Allow yourself to get into altitude and observation.\u00a0\u00a0Are there some practical keys?\u00a0\u00a0What are you observing?\u00a0\u00a0You could write it down.\u00a0\u00a0You don\u2019t have to be in endless specificity, which tends to be mental.<\/p>\n<p>If we put God in the details, it would have one detail\u2026 love.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThat\u2019s it?\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes, love is pretty much the only detail we need to know.\u00a0\u00a0All the rest is more detail in the love.\u00a0\u00a0If we really understand what we are looking at in altitude, we are looking at love.<\/p>\n<p>Also in the relaxation, is a releasing of what negativity does.\u00a0\u00a0When negativity does something like stress or tension \u2013 physically, emotionally or mentally \u2013 it puts what I call static in the channel or the environment.
