Very peaceful energy here and gorgeous scenery, steep mountains descending into a placid, waveless, enclosed, lake-like bay with picturesque medieval seaside towns. (And some Balkan black magic to clear, probably the source of all the tribalism and wars in the south Slavic areas, but that’s part of the package. The paradise parade has a price to be paid, whether it’s Hawaii, the Caribbean, or the lesser known summer paradises like this one. But the pay is good, and I was led here.)

The conscious self came here to recover from the flight, adjust to the time zone, zone out in the sun and warm water, and rest before my Türkiye photo marathon—but there were lots of other levels going on. I took some minor excursions into the cobblestoned, walled, narrow-alleyed, tourist-infested ancient towns of Perast and Kotor (which gets invaded by multi-story whale-like cruise ships that blot out the mountains and dwarf the old walled towns), but I mostly stayed a bit further out, in a quieter area outside of Risan in an apartment overlooking the bay.

I arrived, put my bags in my room and sat down by the little beach area across the road from my apartment, and a guy who was swimming came up out of the water and asked if I had a cigarette, and started a conversation with me. Turns out he has a deep interest in spirituality. Told him about J-R and John and MSIA. Showed him videos on YouTube and That Which Is. It was an appointment that couldn’t have been better timed if we’d planned it weeks in advance. We were there ‘till after dark, talking about the realms of consciousness, Traveler, initiations, the higher purpose of world events, etc.

I kept getting reminded to tune into the John Morton seminars in Sofia, Bulgaria 200 miles away, and ended up conked out in deck chairs in the glittering fusion of sun and salt water, grasping my iPhone talisman with the Traveler vibrating me. I faded into the similarly glittering higher Light that seemed to descend into the land and water as I ascended, in a melding of upward fountaining and downward showering, clearing both me and the bay.

Attached are some brief video panoramas of the scenery.

Click here to view the video panoramas by David Sand from Montenegro — Before the Turkey Tour Begins.

The Montenegro coast, Bay of Kotor.
