Over 11 months ago plans were underway for this year\u2019s visit from Traveller John Morton, Leigh Taylor-Young Morton, and MSIA staff. Andrewjohn and Eleni Clarke have done so much work in the background, along with the Los Angeles team to make the visit a beautiful experience. Rebecca Davies also stepped in arranging all the MSIA services and more.<\/p>\n
On the day of John\u2019s seminars AJ, Eleni and Rebecca were joined by a team of volunteers who worked alongside Vincent, Roger, Angel, and many more, you know who you are, to ensure things ran smoothly.<\/p>\n
The open seminar was held upstairs in a beautiful Victorian building with a large sweeping staircase, high ceilings and chandeliers. Sam Wigen called in the Light with such openness of heart; it seemed to set the tone for the day. John Morton brought a lightness of loving energy and gently engaged with new people, those in the room and made sure those online were acknowledged. He responded to absolutely what was present, and, without divulging confidentialities, he demonstrated his loving and caring. The energy felt light and uplifting.<\/p>\n
Back on the ground floor a team of HeartReach volunteers had prepared a tea with cream cheese and smoked salmon on rye, salt beef and mustard, smashed avocados and cheese and biscuits. Many of our MSIA family brought yummies including home baked vegetables, chocolate almonds, chocolate brownies and lemon posset, a very traditional English dessert.<\/p>\n
A prayer over food before you eat it, spiritualizes food. It seemed like everything brought in to be shared, carried many blessings of loving, connection and ministering to each other.<\/p>\n Over 30 members of our MSIA family sat around tables and on couches, chatting, drinking tea, coffee, and sharing food. The buzzing in the room was lovely and concluded with a team of the best washer uppers clearing the room before our next event.<\/p>\n Nathalie Franks opened the Ministers and Initiates Q&A, and it appeared to me that we were sharing at much deeper and profound levels. Whatever was happening in the room was built on the morning seminar and the Turkiye Traveler Tour. The connection of Light bearers throughout the world felt present. Each sharing cleared another grain of sand, making access to the flowing Light of Spirit clearer and easier.<\/p>\n A visitor from America, who happened to be working in London joined us, and commented on what a lovely welcoming community.<\/p>\n In a busy bustling city like London, with Ministers, Initiates and newcomers travelling considerable distances to attend, it can be easy to feel separate. This London visit dissolved some of the perceived barriers to connection and many reported feeling part of the MSIA family. One minister said: \u201cIt was wonderful to be back in the nest.\u201d<\/p>\n Our warm thanks go to all of the LA staff, UK volunteers, and each of you for your contribution, in person and online.
