It made Windermere look so mystical and it was such a treat for taking photographs.  Here is a poem Christine wrote about her experience of that morning:<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Foggy Morning <\/strong><br \/>\nBy Christine Holley<\/p>\n<p>A foggy morning<br \/>\nIt was 5 am and I was wide-awake<br \/>\nI made coffee<br \/>\nStepped outside<br \/>\nThe roads were covered in a white, damp, cool mist<br \/>\nI headed down the path<br \/>\nIt was like walking in the clouds<\/p>\n<p>I could hear something<br \/>\nI could not see a thing<br \/>\nThen- there they were Clippity Clopping along the road<br \/>\nJust what I was looking for<br \/>\nWindermere Horses!<br \/>\nThey emerged from the mist like magic<br \/>\nMy day felt complete<br \/>\nA foggy morning<\/p>\n<p>As you can see in one photo we had two of the ranch dogs accompany us for a while.<\/p>\n<p>We had a really nice time hanging out with Lynn Cox and Prince in the Horse Flats.  The photo of the horse with a halter on him is Prince.  The other photo was one of Prince\u2019s lady horse friends.<\/p>\n<p>The photo of the man standing on a rock waving peace signs was a candid photo I took of one of Justin Jayne\u2019s crew who were building a stone wall in back of the Garden house while we were there.<\/p>\n<p>Christine took the really nice color photograph of me standing next to Uri.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These are some photographs I took when my wife, Christine, and I visited Windermere for a few days before the MSIA Conference.
