The Christ Within |\u00a0The Master of Your Destiny<\/strong><\/p>\n

The story of the Christ is symbolic,\u00a0and I believe if you update this in your mind and bring it in as new,\u00a0right now, you might very well discover something going on inside of\u00a0you that is the moving of your spiritual inner awareness. It\u2019s true that\u00a0some are more spiritually aware than others. But on whatever level you\u00a0find yourself, that will be the level on which you approach the Father,\u00a0the level on which you approach the Christ within.<\/p>\n

That spirit of inner peace and wisdom and joy is there. It may be there\u00a0in barren soil. Sometimes it\u2019s there in scorched soil, but it is there. It\u00a0will always be there, just waiting for you to scratch below the surface of\u00a0your consciousness and bring the determination of who you are to bear\u00a0upon this seed of greatness and usher it forward. Jesus\u2019 life symbolizes\u00a0the birth of Christ within each person. I\u2019m sure we\u2019ve all been taxed\u00a0very sorely in one way or another in our travels across this planet. I\u2019m\u00a0sure we\u2019ve all had trials and tribulations and cried out, \u201cOh Lord, Lord,\u00a0how much longer?\u201d And we didn\u2019t hear anything, so we knew it had to\u00a0be a little longer. Then we may have turned to our fellow men and said,\u00a0\u201cHow much longer?\u201d Then we knew it still had to be a little longer,\u00a0because we heard nothing.<\/p>\n

You learn to use the wisdoms to step forward in those areas that\u00a0are for your highest good. Sometimes your highest good may be a\u00a0little bit different from what you think it should be. You ask for the\u00a0highest good and something happens and you say, \u201cThat doesn\u2019t feel\u00a0too good.\u201d Yet later on you look back and say, \u201cI\u2019m so glad I went\u00a0through that. That taught me a tremendous lesson; a tremendous\u00a0experience came forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

You cannot destroy the True Self that expresses the inner wisdom. No matter what\u00a0you do, it cannot be destroyed. The God of the negative powers cannot destroy\u00a0the Self. He can make the body pretty miserable; but when that body is miserable,\u00a0remember you can step away from it into a higher consciousness. I met a lady once,\u00a0and I recognized that the pain in her body was fantastic. I asked, \u201cHow do you live\u00a0within that body?\u201d She said, \u201cI don\u2019t. I live in my higher Self. I know there\u2019s pain\u00a0in the body. I know this body does things other people can\u2019t appreciate. I know\u00a0it\u2019s only a burden on them. But it doesn\u2019t burden me. I keep lifting higher and\u00a0higher.\u201d If you were to look at this woman, you\u2019d think, \u201cWhat an angel.\u201d You\u2019d\u00a0never think there was any dis-ease in her body. She was manifesting the higher\u00a0consciousness and was getting very close to finding the True Self.<\/p>\n

We can never be parted from the True Self. As we resolve to remove each block,\u00a0reaching further and further into this higher consciousness, we let our hearts sing\u00a0joyfully, for unto us this day is given our birth. We are born anew into the spiritual\u00a0Light, into our own unfoldment. Don\u2019t be concerned with the little physical hangups\u00a0you have. Maybe you do smoke one cigarette too many or have one beer too\u00a0many or eat too much candy or over-indulge in other areas \u2013 but don\u2019t hold these\u00a0things against yourself. If someone doesn\u2019t see eye-to-eye with you, that\u2019s fine because\u00a0it gives you a chance to see that person\u2019s point of view; and when you see that point\u00a0of view, you expand your consciousness even more. As you lift higher and higher,\u00a0as you travel further and further through all the realms of your experience, you will\u00a0know you are becoming the Master of your destiny and your life. So rejoice, because\u00a0the knowledge is yours, and now you must manifest it, understand it, and know that\u00a0you know. Everywhere you go is sacred ground, every person you touch to is a sacred\u00a0person, and each consciousness is to be respected. All the hurts, the heartaches, and\u00a0the sorrows can be turned over to the Master within and dissolved in the Light of your\u00a0own wisdom and joy.<\/p>\n

If things in the past have seemed rough for you, it may be that the barriers to your\u00a0Self were being ripped away. Once you see your own Soul, once you can glimpse\u00a0that Self within you in all its majesty and glory \u2013 then, there is nothing the world\u00a0can give you that is going to mean too much from that point on. Someone may\u00a0give you a new house, a new Cadillac, furs, jewelry, a lot of money \u2013 whatever \u2013 and\u00a0you\u2019ll say, \u201cYes, all right, okay, now let\u2019s get going. I want to get back to the Self.\u201d It\u00a0will be like a little child giving an adult a mud pie. You say, \u201cYes, yes, very nice \u2013 now\u00a0let\u2019s go on.\u201d That\u2019s the way these material things will look to you. Yet we\u2019re in the\u00a0flesh, and this is where we\u2019re going to work out much of our karma. We\u2019ll work out a\u00a0good percentage of it here and the rest of it in the negative or psychic worlds while the\u00a0body is sleeping. If you don\u2019t get hung-up on the physical world, you can feel yourself\u00a0lifting. But don\u2019t escape the world; don\u2019t do anything to escape it. So many people\u00a0now are running so fast to get away from themselves, yet we have to come back to the\u00a0Self; we have to come back to it in a natural, orderly way. We have to come back and\u00a0say, \u201cHere I am, Lord, the heir to the throne and the prince of all time.\u201d<\/p>\n
