Freedom is an important word, concept, state of Being for me. It’s a major theme in my Ministerial Blessing and something to which I pay close attention.<\/p>\n

So when I first heard about events planned to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of Lincoln’s passing on April 15, I immediately responded and asked to be included. For me, Lincoln symbolizes having the courage to take a stand for Freedom, something I’ve done ever since I can remember. Even though I’ve paid some high prices at times, something deep inside resonates and answers to the Freedom call.<\/p>\n

When I heard that the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. would begin the bell cadence followed by surrounding area bells, honoring the 150th Anniversary of Lincoln’s passing @ 7:22 A.M. on April 15, 2015, I experienced a vision of bells all across the United States joining in by time zone to honor Lincoln and his stand for Freedom, Unity and Peace. Then the thought came, “Why not open this up for the entire World?!”<\/p>\n

As described in John Lennon’s song, “Imagine,” can you imagine all the people of the world ringing bells, focusing & celebrating Freedom, United and (ultimately) Peace – seeds Lincoln sowed 150 years ago! God knows this World could certainly use more of this! Time to focus on what we want to create more of – what a concept….!<\/p>\n

It’s been nearly 2 years since I joined the project. There have been many challenges ( a government agency taking my idea and wanting to use it to celebrate a war rather than Lincoln & Freedom) which made it difficult to stay focused on the positive, cooperating with what’s true in my heart for me, Thrusting the Light would shine through. I continue to accept the challenges, Cooperate with what’s mine to do, which brings forward deeper and clearer Understanding and ultimately Enthusiasm. Through the Lincoln project, Spirit has been teaching me about the 4 Spiritual Laws: Acceptance, Cooperation, Understanding and Enthusiasm which gives me A CUE about what to do next. Including Love in the middle of all this, gives another gift, A CLUE about life and living from the inside out – for which I am most Grateful & Blessed.<\/p>\n
