This past Memorial Day, we held the 12th annual and final Best of Super II with John Morton and Michael Hayes in its current format in Ojai.\u00a0 What started as one person’s vision 12 years ago, has just completed umpteen hours of sacred one-on-one sharings designed to take us all on a journey deeper and deeper into our spiritual hearts.\u00a0 This year’s group was the most intimate ever, allowing for a more relaxed schedule, with more time to simply be in the peacefulness and beauty that Insight, Ojai and this event are known for.<\/p>\n
As Insight’s signature fundraiser, efforts were made to ensure that this small and mighty group would bring forward a positive outcome and we did just that.\u00a0 Beyond the gift of experiencing so many incredible sharings together, the group expressed a profound appreciation for Insight, John-Roger, and all those who helped to create and support this magnificent event all these years.\u00a0 As for the future, Insight intends to hold a different fundraiser weekend next year, though the format and location are unconfirmed at this time.<\/p>\n
An open discussion was held with the entire group to gather feedback about the kind of experience each person would like to have and in what format for moving forward.\u00a0 For those of you who weren’t with us this year in Ojai or ever at a Best of Super II, we invite your comments as well, and ask that you please let us know what kind of event you would consider supporting, what location(s), what donation level you feel is right for you, and anything else you’d like to share in service to making a decision for the highest good of all.<\/p>\n
Some of the ideas brought forth include: a nature or outdoors weekend, a weekend completely unplugged from technology, a family Insight experience, a less luxurious location,\u00a0 a cruise, and the list goes on and on.\u00a0 What we heard from those present is that they want to keep going with something<\/em>\u2026\u00a0 and for some, the location and format has always been just right and they would like to continue as we have been doing all along.\u00a0\u00a0 Insight is currently accepting deposits and commitments from those who want to be together in some way, in some location, next year over Memorial Day weekend.<\/p>\n No matter how it ends or reinvents itself,\u00a0 on behalf of Insight, a heartfelt thank you to each of you for your years of Best of Super II support and for participating fully with Insight in all the ways that you do.\u00a0 It\u00a0 just keeps getting better and better because of you.<\/p>\n Please send any comments or suggestions you have for next year’s program and beyond to: Judi Goldfader at judi@goldfader.com<\/a> or call her at 602-293-3400 or 213-220-2656.<\/p>\n Please enjoy the photo slideshow.
