The John-Roger Library and Archives<\/strong> (JRLA) is accepting new transcribing volunteers for the first time in several years<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This transcribing is loving service in support of:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The\u00a0John-Roger Legacy project. We are compiling the complete text of all of John-Roger’s seminars, Q&A’s, books, articles, and other writings for posterity, and for immediate use in workshops, IHOP-3 etc.<\/li>\n
  2. John Morton’s writing projects.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    \n

    SKILLS:<\/strong> Basic PC or Mac skills including (1) creating a new text document, (2) typing, (3) saving the transcript, (4) saving a backup copy of the transcript, and (5) emailing the transcript to the Library.<\/p>\n

    HOW MUCH TIME DO I GET?<\/strong> The guideline from J-R is to keep the energy moving toward completion. Every project starts with a 2-month due date. If you are making progress at your own pace, more time may be approved on a case-by-case basis.<\/p>\n

    WORK HABITS:<\/strong> Friendly, loving, can-do, and cooperative attitude; desire to be of service, love the Traveler’s teachings, able to keep agreements, and timely communications.<\/p>\n

    LOCATION:<\/strong> Volunteer in your own home<\/p>\n

    TECH SUPPORT:<\/strong> Some tech support is available. And each volunteer is also encouraged to take initiative & do their own problem solving with tech-savvy friends & family<\/p>\n

    People who are called to assist the J-R Library, and who have very good handwriting but no computer skills, may be approved to write transcripts out longhand. Then other volunteers will type them into the computer.<\/p>\n
