That’s the living dynamic of all of us.

To review, God loves all of Its creation. I don’t look at that like an accident or a freak incident of some kind, like God doesn’t know what He or She is doing. I look at it as a direct truth, a living truth, that God loves all of the creation. There’s no accident in that, there’s no hesitation, there’s no further determination. It’s not an action because of a judgment by jury or something like that; it’s the reality of the creation. Regardless of how conscious we are, if we just get a glimpse that God is also omnipotent, totally powerful, we realize that there’s no hidden place that’s not loved. To me, that presents a challenge because if we realize that we’re missing that love, that somehow the fullness or totality of it isn’t coming into our cell experience, our emotional experience, or our mental experience, then it’s on us to move so that it does. And I think that’s basically what we’re doing: moving every single one of us to be more conscious, more aware of that reality, and to move away from any delusion, illusion, or separation that would say we’re not loved or are not love. I think moving away from the separation and learning how to get to the loving is priority one.

How do we manage ourselves individually so the experience is that “I’m in the loving, I know the loving, I’m conscious of loving”? That’s the Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness. And the practical part is to do what you can internally with what you’ve got internally, which is where it begins. The starting point is inside, that you do what you can to open yourself and direct yourself in the loving. Of course, one of the best ways is to find the loving inside, and if that’s a challenge, that’s a hint to find out, “What do I do when I’m missing the loving, when I’m not conscious of the loving?” One of the most obvious things to do is to relax, which is another way of letting go, so what God is catches you and moves you perfectly without any effort by you. Put another way, letting go in terms of the world (such as how the world presents itself and how it reflects) can seem like going in reverse or stopping myself, because if I’m doing, I’m not letting go. Instead, I’m trying to grab hold, trying to push, trying to manipulate. Letting go says, “Stop that. Relax. You are interfering by trying to do it.”

It’s not really a doing thing; it’s a being thing. That’s something to discern about yourself: Are you being or are you doing? If you can, get with the being of yourself, where things already are. On the being level, it’s not about what you did, if you did it right, if it was good enough. The being level doesn’t care about that. It just is. So another way to relate to it is, you get with your is-ness. “I” is not really measured in terms of what you have accomplished or any of the other outer signs. Maybe if you’re fortunate, you get some nice outer signs. That’s good, but it can also be a set-up because then you may feel that you deserve them, that you’re owed. So when things shift outwardly and are not so nice, you may then tend to internalize that. It’s very common, but it’s a mistake, an error in judgment.

Your is-ness is independent, not based on outer conditions. So that’s a key moment in your awakening. It’s something like this: “I’m not what I do. I’m not the outer conditions of my life. I’m not even my thoughts or feelings or sensations.” If you start taking all those things away, it can seem as if there’s nothing left. But there is something left, and it’s you. You continue, regardless of all those conditions. It’s magnificent that when we’re really with our beingness, it’s transcendent. It’s not like an explosion, which is way too harsh. It’s like a tremendous surge, way faster than the speed of light. It’s been described as ecstasy, bliss, nirvana, glory—the experience of being completely released in liberation.

So even though you can still be aware of yourself as a personality, a body, or something on that order, you can still be aware that you are so far beyond that in immeasurable ways. There’s often a sense of laughter about it. It’s like being on a ride: the real thrill is not in the body because the body can’t contain the thrill, but there’s something about the ride that sort of sparks or stimulates it so the body gets included. So you can be in the experience of ecstasy and bliss and still be aware that you’re in the world and in the body. It’s a rare kind of an occurrence, but it’s possible to have yourself expanded in the consciousness of who you are so that you’re still in some way hanging on to the reference of being in the world, but so far, far expanded beyond it that it’s almost meaningless.

This is the love of all you behold and knowing the oneness of all creation is divine. Practically, this is loving whoever and whatever is present. Be kind. Be patient. The way is prepared by God, who has already done the love of all and is waiting for those who choose to make the love of all of God’s creation priority number one. Our friend, Jesus, put it another way: love one another.
Baruch Bashan.

Your relationship with the Traveler is with you.
