I was 11 when I met J-R. I’ll always remember the night at Meredith Miller’s home in Coconut Grove, Florida, when I went with my parents to listen to a man speak of spiritual things. It was 1973. I don’t specifically remember why I wanted to go…perhaps just my curiosity. Meredith’s home was packed with people, sitting wherever they could. I believe I had a spot on the floor, which was just as well since I fell asleep! After the seminar, folks were milling around and I saw J-R a little off by himself next to a fountain. I told my mom I wanted to say Hi to him. She nodded her agreement and off I went to introduce myself. We had a brief exchange that stumped me a bit. I totally understood the energy that his words rode on but I didn’t understand his comment at all. No matter….the connection was made.<\/p>\n
