Staff \u2013 Nov 1975<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan means that \u201cthe blessings already are\u201d.\u00a0 And it\u2019s true; the blessings are already here.\u00a0 It\u2019s so very important to partake, as individuals, of the law of grace that God extends to everyone.\u00a0 As you experience this power that God brings to you, you may feel it surround you and lift you, even though you can think of no reason for this to take place.\u00a0 And at these times you\u2019ll understand the concept behind the words \u201cbaruch bashan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Sometimes you\u2019ll hear me end a seminar with \u201cbaruch bashan\u201d or I use those words at the end of Discourses or at the end of a letter, but they don\u2019t signify the end; they signify a beginning \u2013 an acknowledgement of God\u2019s reality in our lives.\u00a0 The movement of spiritual inner awareness goes on continually on the inner levels of consciousness.\u00a0 You can have the experience of it anytime you turn your attention towards it.\u00a0 And that\u2019s part of the meaning of \u201cbaruch bashan\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>We are all multidimensional.\u00a0 This means that our consciousnesses exist on many different levels simultaneously.\u00a0 You know this.\u00a0 You know that your physical body can be expressing, for example, the flu, and maybe your emotions aren\u2019t too stable; but maybe you just thought of a great new idea for your job \u2013 so mentally you\u2019re feeling pretty good.\u00a0 And really, you know that the flu is a good action because it\u2019s forcing you to get the rest and the sleep you need and giving you lots of time to think and plan ahead.\u00a0 So these are all different levels.\u00a0 And that\u2019s one, out of infinite, possible combinations.\u00a0 Maybe someday you wake up feeling really good physically \u2013 strong and healthy and full of energy \u2013 but you\u2019re restless and just can\u2019t seem to study for that exam.\u00a0 You\u2019re \u201cup\u201d physically but not so to together mentally.<\/p>\n<p>One level that\u2019s more subtle than the ones mentioned is the spiritual level. \u00a0We\u2019re used to dealing with the body, the emotions, and the mind; those levels are obvious.\u00a0 The spiritual is harder to discern, but it\u2019s just as real.\u00a0 In fact, it\u2019s more real.\u00a0 We know that the physical things decay and deteriorate and fall apart.\u00a0 They\u2019re material \u2013 they\u2019re designed to drop away in time.\u00a0 But the spiritual things are of Spirit.\u00a0 They\u2019re much more subtle, and they are designed to endure forever.<\/p>\n<p>When you begin attuning yourself to the spiritual, you\u2019ll discover that that level will become more and more clear to you.\u00a0 As you turn your attention towards it, it will reveal itself to you.\u00a0 Then you will become more and more aware of the reality of the spiritual and those qualities that are spiritual.\u00a0 You\u2019ll experience more joy.\u00a0 You\u2019ll give more love.\u00a0 You\u2019ll see God\u2019s blessings all around you and know that you are loved by God.\u00a0 You\u2019ll recognize that your love is God\u2019s love and your joy is God\u2019s joy \u2013 and all you have to do is share God with everyone you meet.<\/p>\n<p>Peace is from God.\u00a0 When you begin to find the peace and harmony inside of you, you\u2019ll start feeling that you are the Hu-man, the God man, and you\u2019ll start to realize the multidimensional awareness of the physical is nothing compared to the multidimensional awareness of that beyond the physical, the invisible, the spiritual realms that are more real than anything here.<\/p>\n<p>The physical levels (which include the imagination, the emotions, the mind, and the unconscious) are in a constant state of vibration and motion, so when we talk of God\u2019s peace, we are not talking about these levels, because it will be difficult to bring a lasting peace to these levels.\u00a0 But, when we talk of peace we mean the stillness that comes from bringing these levels together into a unified whole which is balanced. \u00a0And bringing those levels into a balance allows the peaceful quality of the spiritual level to flood down through all levels of consciousness.\u00a0 You\u2019ll feel the energy.\u00a0 And you\u2019ll know the peace it brings \u2013 a dynamic, flowing, joyful peace.\u00a0 And you will know through every level of your beingness that, in truth, the blessings already are.<\/p>\n<p>Baruch Bashan.<\/p>\n<p>John-Roger, DSS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This article by John-Roger, DSS, was first published\u00a0in Rod &amp;
