After a day at the Peace Workshop in New York and also attending Millennium Peace Day at the United Nations, John Morton and John-Roger returned to the heart of NYC to hold an MSIA seminar. This seminar was a true East Coast event with a big turnout from Philly, Boston and many other areas. Howard White was the entertainment–and entertain he did.<\/p>\n
Ann Webre, the MSIA representative in New York City, was emcee. Ann announced that Frannie Rutherford is the new MSIA co-representative in New York City. Angel Gibson filled us in on three East Coast booksignings with John-Roger and John Morton this week, and also about upcoming trips to France and Japan. <\/p>\n
We watched a beautiful video on the Kyoto trip from March 2000. We also saw the video of John’s “The Blessings Already Are,” book tour, and a very funny video called “Tithing 2000.” Mary Jane Wyss led us in a group song and the whole group sang Happy Birthday to John-Roger.<\/p>\n
Then, John-Roger led a wonderful seminar. I heard J-R mention that every seminar has 15,000 to 30,000 topics, and in my opinion, this seminar was no exception. After the seminar, Connie Stomper said: “J-R was so sweet and playful and funny and loving and loveable. It was one of my very first times sitting in the front row at a John-Roger seminar and I just could not keep my eyes open!” Now, doesn’t that sum up a J-R seminar perfectly?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
