\"ArticleThe Prana Tree Trimming Party on Tuesday, December 3rd, started just outside the front gate. There, the Christmas Spirit began with the beautiful old Guasti Mansion ablaze with a zillion tiny lights outlining its handsome architectural details. <\/p>\n

Inside, some merry elves were setting out tables filled with ornaments, bows, and ribbons for the tree, while others were up on ladders, adding lights to the 9-foot spruce tree in the center of the Large Seminar Room. <\/p>\n

A few feet away, gathered around the grand piano, were a minion of sopranos, singing traditional and modern Christmas carols, accompanied, directed and encouraged by the J-R Library’s own Barbara Weiland. <\/p>\n

Across the Foyer in the Small Seminar Room (once the Guasti family’s dining room), a feast was laid out: jumbo shrimp, chicken satay on skewers, tiny quiches, and an honorable array of cookies, cakes, and candies (with and without sugar).<\/p>\n
